Club has also:
Removed the commemorative plaques from the railings on Cherry Street.
Removed the Lane Legends artwork/graphics from the front of the South Stand.

I don't know why they're doing these things, but it's a retrograde step. It's like they're trying to put their own stamp on things by erasing the club's history.

Not got a problem with refusing to mention Wednesday by name, that's just a bit of long running joke although probably had its day now. The not announcing the opposition team is just classless and shows a lack of respect. Not sure who was behind that idea but that decision needs reversing now.

Yeah I remember that well enough, but imo he wasn’t fit generally, even before that incident.

He was carrying an injury for most of the second loan spell .. played very well in a poor side in the first loan … he was also very complementary about his time at The Lane can’t for the life of me why some bell ends would boo him

Also, going off an on a tangent I thought it was disrespectful last season not to announce Hecky's return with Preston.

The man is one of very few managers that have got us promoted to the Premier League, I am not even sure Sinclair even namechecked him. With what he had to put up with as manager at the time he deserved something.
