Shortest League career thread

With the obscure players thread doing the rounds I wondered if we could have a bit of fun over the close season with a few interesting 'teams'.

So not including any cup games can we come up with a team that collectively played the fewest times for the Blades. Later I'll do a cup one.

Must only be League games.

My only contrbution is Ebbrell 29/3/97 v Reading. Did he get injured in the first half?

Close, looks like Emanuele Gabrieli 17 Oct 2004. Won 3-1.

Johnson played v Rotherham in the league on 26/2/05. I must have missed his and United's FA Cup final appearance

I have gone back to the sixties and Gabrieli is indeed another one (sub for about 10 mins). Of the rest. Broddle, Day and Kelly got full games, whilst Johnson, Ebbrell and Baxter were all subbed at HT.

Of the subs, Muggleton, Peel, KIlleen and Mallon were all brought on in the dying minutes; Launders had about 5 mins before being injured and being subbed, the rest all came on in the 2nd half for varying periods.
