Legend has it that 2 mates were getting soaked New Year's Eve at 3am walking home because they couldn't get a taxi singing the original lyrics but as they were drunk, show me easily slurs into Shoreham....

I believe Liverpool still sing or have resurrected that song, just seen videos on YouTube as I got the link for this thread.
I only posted this as tongue in cheek after a lot of other threads but "show me" and "Shoreham" change around pretty well and it is catchy but I do expect some bashing for yet another song thread !

Oh no. Resurrecting songs is bad enough but you should never, ever admit to borrowing a song.

What you need to do is slightly change the lyrics of a grunge metal band song (or something similar), that no ones ever heard of save forty year olds trying to be cool (but listen to Classic Gold in the car)

I'm currently reviewing the Smashing Pumpkins back catalogue.

Oh and don't sing it too fast, too soon.....
