Try looking for them in the Advanced Search bit. Tick the completed listings bit. Hey fucking presto, all you need is there, try looking for yourself.

You must have a computer, I hear they can do all sorts of wonderful stuff these days, without you asking to be spoonfed because you couldn't be arsed looking yourself.

Do you want somebody to come round in the morning to help you dress, or can you manage that for yourself?

i didnt know you could do that id say thanks but from ur arrogance id rather you go F**k Yourself

Spend two minutes looking rather than getting somebody else to do it for you. You could start with spelling lessons too.

Oh and bytheway im not a member of ebay was just wondering about what they went for so thanks for nothing.

Did you actually test that Shoreham?

Typing in 'Sheffield Peterborough match shirt', 'Sheffield Peterborough shirt', 'Sheffield Help Heroes' does not yield a single search result.

Typing 'Sheffield United Shirt' only yields 2 pages of results, non of which are the Help the Heroes shirts.

Did I actually test that? Or have I just made it up for a laugh? What do you think? Go on, take a wild guess.

On the club email the shirts were described as being listed as SUFC Help for Heroes shirts. So go to the home page.

Click on the Advanced Search option.

In Advanced Search type in some keywords. Heroes, Help, Shirt, for example.

Click on the option to include completed listings.

Fancy that. 22 Sheffield United shirts listed, all with the prices and the amounts they went for. All it took was a little bit of looking and a couple of minutes.

So why is it too hard for people to try looking for themselves? A bit of patience and time is all it takes, but some people can't even be arsed trying. The first poster had no idea, but hadn't even bothered trying to look for himself. They'd rather somebody else did it for them, because they are either too important or too bloody idle to look themselves.

So yes, I did try looking that way. That's why I suggested it.

And it's shorehamview, cheers.

Is the world messed up because people get fed up with the idle, can't be arsed, do it for me because I'm too important ones, the can't even be arsed to spell ones, or the ones who get fucked off with having to do it for them? Is it the fault of the lazy ones who want it handing to them on a plate? Oh no, it can't be their fault, they are too idle to do anything for themselves to get blamed for it.

I'm now waiting for a slapping from either Linz or Foxy for causing them more grief than they need. Well, if it means clowns like this do something for themselves just the fucking once for a change then it will have been worth it.

Shoreham forgive me, i didn't realise you adopted some kind la-di-da 'address me by my full username' policy.

Yes, you are right. Looking is not hard and 'most' people, myself included would have done that. The point i am making is that your suggestion was not quite as easy and/or obvious to follow as you so acrimoniously made out.

But thanks for the confirmation, I am sure Spadge will now be able to find his way to the shirts courtesy of your now clear and consice instructions.

Syko.

I dont think there is any need to be so rude to a fellow blade. I also think they may be others interested in the shirts as well.

Anyway, to see completed listings you have to be an Ebay member.

If you spent as much time being helpful as you did writing that rather nasty reply I think both would benefit.

Let the Christmas spirit live bro.

How come Ryan France's shirt is worth 21p more than Andy Taylor's ? :D

I've been instructed to go and fuck, sorry, f**k myself by spadge so I'm not too "la-di-da" but hey, I get called all sorts, I'd just prefer that I get the courtesy of using the name I have chosen. I offer others the same courtesy. Those who know me, either through here or in person call me either shorehamview or sv. There are so many "shoreham" derivatives on here that I don't want some other poor bugger getting my flack.;)

As far as looking, my suggestion might not have been so easy that the hard of thinking could have followed it without help from a grown-up, and if spadge had been arsed to look and say that he had no joy from his search then that's fair enough, but he hadn't even bothered. A couple of minutes of his time was obviously too much for him to spare, so we can instead spend half an hour arguing about it on here instead.

What really gets my goat is the sheer laziness of people who can't be arsed to look for themselves, but instead expect others to do it for them. They could try a little bit of initiative but would rather sit back and wait for it to be handed to them on the proverbial plate, then get pissed off when somebody who is fed up with doing their donkey work suggests they do it for themselves. I could have been a little more polite, I could have been a lot ruder.

I'm not too fussed if I've upset somebody too lazy to do it for themselves, all I'm bothered about is giving Linz and Foxy grief they don't need.

you could just have said nothing rather going on an absolute rant. how, from the original post, do you know whether he has had a look or not??

this is a very legit thread and i thank spadge for bringing it up as i didn't realise these shirts had even been on ebay. i don't think it was too unreasonable to ask his fellow blades whether they knew or not. i understand what you are trying to say about idle people, but the guy was just asking. wouldn't say he was being idle especially if he's not an ebay member. not all people are as good on computers as you obviously are!

hahaha classic rant shorehamview, do you happen to work in an IT/Service job by any chance? :-)

To be honest I also appreciate the post as I didn't even know the shirts were being auctioned either and it might have been interesting to discuss before the tone was lowered. Seriously, I can see this is one of those niggling annoyances for you but why can't you just pass on by, if nobody else wants to help or people find the thread an annoyance then it will disappear pretty quickly. The guy's been on the forum three months, it's good to see a thread that's not the same as the last 387 and I just don't think that sort of response is conducive to an interesting and friendly debating forum for what should be brothers in arms.

Now if it had been any post from a piggy mofo then fair enough rain on the wrath of thor but there's no need for such a condescending and abrupt tone with a fellow blade.

ps can we add a forum post button that says "Boo User" next to "Thank User" ?

Can I be the first to suggest a whole load of "chill the fuck out" and tentatively raise the point that without a whole load of "stupid" questions, bizarre requests for information and strange thought processes of our members, we wouldn't have very much of a forum?

Perhaps if you have nothing nice to say, it would be better to ignore the thread and not say anything at all?

You can add negative reputation to a poster by clicking the scales

on their post.

Can I boo you for stereotyping IT/Service jobs? :D

Someones been drinking :D

Funny to see Delboys 'unused sub shirt' raise a fair bit more than SQuinns match worn shirt lol

I love this thread.

Shorehamview would really have enjoyed BU in the run up to the playoff final...

It is slightly comic that Andy Taylor's unused shirt went for more than one Quinny has actually worn in a game...

Ha, please feel free to boo me at any given opportunity, I love a bit of verbal booing :-)

I'm only stereotyping because I work in IT and the majority of the people I know have a chip on their shoulder about helping people who aren't so IT literate..

BU Point of Order

Its not booing, its actually Jeering, people make a booing noise when they are Jeering you.

Whilst i agree with the gud cause perhaps the players shud have bought there shirts for a £1000 then handed themout to sum of the Blade fans at Bristol.

Why could they not have bought the shirts for £1,000 each, and then sold them again for another £900?

If only we had a big flag on the Kop.

Possibly.:D

It's also nice to see somebody has red-carded me for "being a cunt" without being brave enough to actually put their name to it.

I however, do know who it is.

And an infraction given for personal abuse and misuse of the reputation system to that person.

Name calling to someone's face is unnecesary, doing it behind their back is just cowardly.
