That’s why Warnock was rightly sacked. His “nothing here for us” approach when visiting places like Old Trafford and Anfield made my teeth squeak at the time. I know I might change my tune after our 7th successive defeat but in a division where 14 teams are absolutely terrified of relegation, but surely out unique approach of playing with no fear gives us a fair chance staying up?

I think we'll see a bit more of the 'flat 3' midfield we used to great effect at WBA and Leeds last season and I can also see us using Oli B up top on his own with Robinson or L Freeman playing in the 'free role' behind, like Leon and Brooks did to great effect at Hillsborough.

I do think that generally we play better as a unit in our conventional set up with 2 up and 1 behind - I think we'll retain that for most home games, however the great thing is that we've signed players and got a squad that gives us all those options even during a game.
