I wonder if we weren't a disgrace as there were dibbles literally everywhere?

OK - here's my take on it.

Greater Manchester Police (and not sure if Preston have a different force) are used to big matches with large away followings. Have always found them understanding of us from this side of the Pennines when we visit the Red Rose side...........and to quote again for the nth time - South Yorkshire could if they wished take examples and advice from GM Police. They probably think they are above that sort of thing.

Preston is Lancashire Constabulary I believe.

The most disturbing thing all day was the dry roast trump dropped in the lifeboat pre match. Never noticed the old Bill all day which is a very good sign.

We were very good little boys to be fair, barely made a peep all game. Well done Blades :)

The difference in policing competence is noticeable every time you go outside South Yorkshire.

The way things are going on the pitch our flares will be past their "use by date".

The OP's comments illustrate how police forces should operate, there's nothing unusual there and good for them. It's just that we have been conditioned to the antics of the clowns at SYP as being the norm.

Come on there were only 3 and a half thousand there, you can't expect small numbers like that to include bellends
