Morning everyone, just a reminder that this year's fair is on Thursday the 28th December at the same venue as last year, the Norton House Country Club on Norton Lane, Sheffield S8 8HD, just off the southern ring road. There is plenty of parking available around the side and back of the building.

Last year was well attended, and this being Yorkshire's only winter memorabilia Fayre we're hoping for a repeat.

There will be thousands of programmes for sale, Big Match, League, Cup, Internationals. Non league, etc etc.

There will be badges, tickets, team-sheets, books, autographs, magazines, press photos, football shirts, subbuteo and a host of other football related items.

We have some of the leading dealers attending

Kick off is at 10pm, and Full time around 1pm. Entry is £1 (which includes entry into the raffle), Under 16s are free.

The Bar will be open from 10am.

I'll be on the door, come and say hello and grab yourselves some bargains

Appears to be some confusion as to what a.m and p.m signify.!!!!?
Yr first post says 10 p.m kick off ? A Bit late.?

Here's a list of the programme dealers at the fair.

1. Terry 'Tubby' O'Neil.
Fantastic array of memorabilia, topping off a memorable year for Terry who has now branched out into organising his own online auctions.

2. Andy Trasler.
More terrific choice and variety from Andy. Bits and pieces galore. Trading cards, Books, stickers just about everything.

3. Rich Letts
South Yorkshire's premier football programme dealer. Some real choice programmes with a staggering range of stock. Huge variety. One of the hardest working dealers on the circuit.

4. Colin Boulter. Midlands based dealer, who is one of the most genuine people you could wish to meet. A regular on the programme circuit. Programme bundles a speciality, always has lot of quality programmes at competitive prices.

5. Peter Quinten. Another regular of the fair circuit. Peter specialises in Manchester United but has loads programmes and memorabilia too.

6. Nigel Hanks. Popular local figure known for his roles at Worsbrough Bridge and Stocksbridge Park Steels. Nigel still runs a little shop at Worsbrough. Will have a good range of local programmes, for Blades and Owls alike, League, non league, Friendlies, Team-sheets, local cup finals etc etc.

7. Tom Roe. A legend and a loud one at that, not his fault he supports Preston. Always willing to have a chat. Autographs a speciality but has a whole range of odd items that are a collectors dream.

8. Alistair Loftley: Modern day programmes galore as well as assorted stock going back to the 1950s.

9. Steve Wilbourn. Blades fan, with thousands of badges for sale, including all teams. Top lad.

10. Alan Wright: A newcomer this year, big Rotherham fan. Will personally look forward to see what's he got.

I've know all the dealers apart from Alan for a good long time now, and they always put in a great effort in displaying their goods. Will post some pictures from last year's fair tomorrow night.

Just a reminder doors open at 10:30am. Closes around 1:30pm. Bar open for tea, coffee, Abbeydale ales etc etc. A small seating are will be open.
More details to follow in the run up next weeks event. Cheers Sharrow

Hi,

Been trying to find action photos of Man U v Blades match on Boxing Day 1973, do you know anyone who might have them in the Man U v Ipswich on 29th Dec 1973 or Man U v Plymouth on 5th January 1974 programmes?

Possibly Peter Quinten, ........I think the Ipswich game might have been George Best's last home game for Manchester United
