Not seen it posted on here so thought I would mention it. Loan I’m hearing.

no ITK source just friend of a friend

First thing that came into my head, "why bring in Sharp when you've got Rooney on the bench?"

no chance. he is required in the dressing room, he is still captain in all but name and he will be waiting in the wings for injuries to hit, imo he is above cal in the pecking order, so if we are looking at a partner for didzy, he is only one striker injury away from coming off the bench regs

Fucking expensive partnership especially when you've just had to sell your stadium to get under FFP last year.
It would all be very Derby though, wouldn’t it? Old players, on their way down, really expensive, zero resale value.

We could probably get £5m from them too. :)

Personally I feel Billy would be daft to go or consider this, Derby are shite they'll not get P/Offs Billy knew the score when we came up, he'll get a chance as we'll get injuries. I have said all along he'd end up being a coach at BDTBL and hope he achieves this.

If Wilder's not even bringing him on yesterday then he might as well leave to be honest.
Wilder did the right thing not bringing him on. Not a PL player, much as we would all love him to be. If he wants to play he needs to go. Still a great Championship striker.

If he heads out we’d need to get another striker in, and from what Wilder suggests this isn’t an area of the pitch that we’re looking to recruit in this window. I don’t think it’ll happen – we have been rather fortunate both last and this season not to have a single major injury to a single striker at any point, and we’re really only one injury away from Sharp having a lot more game-time than he’s had to-date.

Sharp's still more likely than most to make an impact from the bench, and we needed something.

I was hoping that Billy was going to come on yesterday. I thought the last 30 mins were made for him and Moose to be a partnership up top.

Still, we will never know now and a point is better than nothing especially as we really could do without potentially losing 3 on the bounce as we have City and the Scousers next.

I’ve heard this rumour aswell but I was told he would move in the summer to Derby.

How is it possible, even in the cloud cuckoo land aka S2 4SU to be a great Championship striker and yet definitely NGE for the PL ?

Wilder has told him he can do whatever he wants, and he won't stand in his way, so if Sharp wants regular football, he needs to decide, he's not getting any younger, and i for one can't fault him if he takes 1 final pay day.

If Billy was on the pitch for the Oli Norwood free kick, towards the kop, where he curls the ball round the defenders and across the goal line, Billy scores all day long, you don't need to give him more than a sniff of a free shot like that.

He will go nowhere this season, they were warming him up and looked like he was going to be coming on with 10 mins to go.

Not really true though is it ? He's missed some right sitters this season when he has played

Sharp plus 5 mill for Jayden Bogle with a loan back till end of the season would be good.
