Have to agree with a few on here...why are we going back in for Sharp?.......he looked out of shape and out of Ideas to me on the occasions I have seen him over the last two years.
We have three who are better going forward ( not past records, which mean nothing).
x3 defenders, a tough, quality midfielder and a strong centre forward is what everybody can see that we need.
Sharp which ever way you look at it does not improve the squad.....gone are the days that players come here for an end of career pay bonanza.

Why did you feel the need to start a new thread?

Henderson from Rochdale would be much better in my opinion
But we are not going to sign Billy, the guy who has twice before might.

McCabe and Princey have enough money to carry a few ................ they are used to it

I wasn't sure of Hendersons pedigree so he's his wiki stats

Only 5'-10" and 1:3 goals to games ratio.

Yeah, who the hell wants a proven goal scorer at this level.

everyone does, but given that it's been almost 10 years since Billy Sharp played in League One/scored goals on a consistent basis i'd hardly call him a "proven goalscorer".

he's shown nothing recently to suggests that he's any better than what we already have. much rather we just keep Done and McNulty and sign a big and strong COG type player to go alongside one of them.

it's ok, we're saved :D
Sheffield United have turned their attention to Rochdale forward Ian Henderson after a move for Billy Sharp stalled. #sufc #rfc
Last season 22 goals in 44 league games. Which is a good thing....

I look forward to Hendersons immanent arrival with some relish!

I thank you!
