I don't know whether the TV coverage showed the full extent of the pitch invasion but I can't remember seeing so many people on a pitch at any previous games. Lots of smoke bombs and provocation. It's a miracle there wasn't a mass brawl. I know the police have been criticised for their handling of the situation but personally I think they did a good job keeping the Forest fans away from the United fans.

Forest deserve a severe punishment - points deduction and or games behind closed doors. The Forest fans made the Scots (who invaded the Wembley pitch many years ago) look like pussy cats

NFFC's responsibility to avoid a mass or any other kind of pitch invasion, they failed.
Punishment due, I feel my suggestion of the punishment fits the crime, if you don't, I recon it's down to our age differences.
I could go further on the wider aspect of this subject but feel some on here would go apoplectic.

Me neither - unprecedented. All making a beeline for the away end. There was maybe a minute or two when there were only a few police, before the back up arrived. If the Blades jumped on the pitch then it'd have been front page news.

Sorry dude but it's just grasping for what we (fairly) lost at the end of the day.
I do get what you're saying, but I can't agree.
As I've already said this twat could be just a glory hunter at his first match.. You can't punish them all for one mindless thug.
Just my opinion of course. Though I'm. sure every aspect of this will be discussed in minute detail for weeks to come.

I've always been of the opinion every club has its share of the odd numbskulls capable of embarrassing the club.

That pitch invasion was very unsettling
instead of being joyous as it should have been it carried threats as they acted aggressively towards our fans.
It was a breach of acceptable behaviour.
The club needs sanctioning . I would trust more than just a 10k fine
 
Banning him isn't enough, the club need kicking out of the play offs. Let Boro play Huddersfield, anything, just punish these scummers properly. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Yeah, I can take losing, we're Sheffield United, that's what we do when it comes to playoffs. But that attack on Billy leaves me really pissed off.
 



I reckon he'll get sent down. ABH plus the high profile circumstances of running on the pitch with the clear intent of doing that. Give him 6 months and a prison with a few Blades in....
