3 managers haven’t yet and it’s been 18 months of failure. The players look like they’re suffering from PTSD half the time. I think a complete overhaul is needed, fresh starts and ideas. Trouble is we have no time to do it. Yes, maybe he can get this squad a few notches above embarrassment, but it’s a completely different style and requires bravery on the ball. All I saw last night was cowardice.

With respect to WBA, implementing hoofball is a much easier prospect than what Slav wants to do with us. I’m not denying it was effective, but as we know with Blackwell, you make a rod for your own back with that way of playing. You better get results because if you don’t the football is eye-bleedingly bad.
