Yeah I don’t see us paying 12 it’s like us telling arsenal 35 it’ll come down a bit
nah no chance but it is looking like its 1 from 3 for our new keeper dieng olsen or randolph slav has to bring somebody in we cant go with verrips and foderingham

Agreed.

Jamal Blackman is a free agent and at 27 it’s about time he settled down, wasn’t too bad when he played at the lane, obviously not at the same level of Henderson or Ramsdale. But as a fanbase we have to realise that we have been blessed in that position for a few years with England national team keepers.

I’d take him over verrips but not sure he’s a number one seems to have regressed since the leg break

Unfortunately when a 35 year old midfielder is being eyed up to provided us with the energy and aggression we need in our midfield mancunianblade after an unipressive but “not too bad“ season at forest, i think that’s one of our player criterias’s. Any other keeper will cost us some sort of a fee, don’t think that’s our MO at the moment. Which is shit.

Deffo take him over Verrips and fodders, statistically he was the 12th best keeper in the division last season (after playing over 25 games) Deing was placed 9th. Yogi stats only tell so much though.

HeySethUTB If it comes down to it and dieng is a none starter and Randolph and Olsen fall through then I wouldn’t turn my nose up at Blackman (in those circumstances) as competition for Wes. At that point I’d ship verrips back to Holland or Belgium sharpish for whatever we can get even if it’s just someone covering his wages. Long term Blackman wouldn’t be a bad number 2 if this becomes a long term rebuild and we recruit a keeper down the line.

League One keeper

So many of our fans are so blinkered with some players.

All our youngsters are great and deserve to be in the starting 11 and Jamal Blackman should now be our number 1 because he was part of a 'feel good' season 🤣 🤣

Yes Brentford
They have done what our fans consider is impossible

Despite us being 20x the size of club that Brentford are

But no, it's impossible for us

Somebody has also mentioned QPR will be top this season, I don't know about this season but one day they will go up, West London clubs will never fail for very long.

Very soon the Premier League will be almost an entirely London thing with the exception being Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds and Liverpool

The reason we won't be involved is because all these clubs will get huge takeovers, Sheffields clubs being based in Sheffield, won't.

Not a surprise really they’ll want something like 8-10 million for him.

Never saw this one has remotely viable but what do I know

We need a new keeper, as number one or competition for Wes.

Dieng has always impressed me. I think we've been linked with him previously as well.

28, Senegalese international. Only has one year left on his contract at QPR. They're clearly going nowhere as a club and he's been there for years. I know they've been after a lot for him before but I reckon he'd be a reasonable amount today. Age means he's just reaching his peak.

Yep, was awful. No way we could risk recruiting him.
He was considered as an option under CW but he was always going to go for Ramsdale when Bournemouth and then player gave the thumbs-up.
Can't say I've seen anything in Dieng that made me think he's Prem level quality.

What was it that you thought particularly bad about him?
He had a terrible run of form, but then again so did the entire QPR team. Can't be easy being managed by that cunt Ainsworth.

What was it that you thought particularly bad about him?
Not so much first hand knowledge. I'm only watching the basic highlights of QPR usually. But reports were bad.

He did score this season though, so, we might need goals...!
