Our answer to the keeper issue get him in
Very good keeper though we can’t carry on like we areHe's already playing for a promotion contender, and he won't be cheap.
QPR going well so far with Deing ìn. Can't see them letting him go. They're not hard up are they? Our answer to the keeper issue get him in
Get Mitchell out more like.Won't happen. They will be asking far too much for him. Looks like Oslen might be the answer for the short term. Get Mitchell and the boys out scouting the next Hendo/Rammers hopefully abroad.
I have no idea what you do, but imagine someone that doesn't know you, or the job, slagging you off for doing your job, while not knowing what parameters you are working under,,pointless really.Get Mitchell out more like.
I would have thought he's one of a team who over a period as recommended this shite to the club thefore he's in the fucking firing line on my count!I have no idea what you do, but imagine someone that doesn't know you, or the job, slagging you off for doing your job, while not knowing what parameters you are working under,,pointless really.

Key point of your reply is "I would have thought" you like me, don't know the make up of the team the brief they are given or the limits and restrictions imposed on them, enough reasons for me to not slag them off.I would have thought he's one of a team who over a period as recommended this shite to the club thefore he's in the fucking firing line on my count!
I’m not sure our recruitment has been abysmal really. I’d put Robinson in the category of appalling. The others have been middling but not disastrous. The issue for me in terms of our recruitment has been in terms of volume really we’re still playing the first side Mitchell built we should be coming to the end of the rebuilding of a second side by now but due to us pursuing high value acquisitions we’ve signed a relatively small number of first team players. Brewster, mcburnie, berge (doesn’t fit the Mitchell profile) ramsdale (now gone) bogle and freeman are the only real first team signings since promotion. That’s a mixed bag but not bad he’s we over paid for some but that’s not Mitchell’s job to negotiate fees.I would love to see who he's been recommending. Apparently, he's very highly thought of. That being said, our recruitment has been abysmal. Just not sure how much of it was Wilder or Mitchell.

We went up with an ageing squad we’re now two years down the line at this point there should only be one, two or three of that side still playing regular football with the rest having been turned over and refreshed. In short his brief should have been volume but it clearly hasn’t been.
Whilst I agree Brentford are admirable their model isn’t really an option for us we don’t have the background expertise in data analytics also their investment has been sustain over years ours came in one big dump. I also feel an opportunity has been missedTo be honest - I don't know what was Mitchell's doing and what was Wilder's doing. I can just speak to the players we brought in during the past two years and how I am scared shitless that we may have missed our opportunity to do something special. The amount of money spent and what we currently have is abysmal. Not only from a player quality perspective but notably a team balance perspective.
I keep going back to the "Brentford model" and comparing ourselves with them. Both similar funding but vastly different approach to recruitment.

It not necessarily the cost that’s prohibitive it’s the contacts. How many football people are there who do what Brentford do the fact that so many years on they’re one of the only clubs to operate that way would suggest not many. One feather in Brentford’s cap down the years has been their own also owning a danish club you could say we’ve taken a leaf out of their book with establishing United world the problem again is though that we don’t have the same expertise so it isn’t working as well.for the outlay of what say a league one prospect we could have competely revamped the scouting, analytics side of the club.
that was an opportunity missed with the premier money.
there would be less Brewster and more benrahmas, less mcburnie and more maupays etc.
There's a LOT of amateur analytics who produce reams and reams of very high quality analysis on twitter and the like while working around another full time job, now imagine paying them to do that full time, I'd imagine quite a lot wouldn't think twice! It not necessarily the cost that’s prohibitive it’s the contacts. I’m not arguing against the use of analytics just saying that no one has replicated Brentford’s model as yet and so it’s not as simple as just saying we should be like Brentford it’s obviously a tricky thing to do.There's a LOT of amateur analytics who produce reams and reams of very high quality analysis on twitter and the like while working around another full time job, now imagine paying them to do that full time, I'd imagine quite a lot wouldn't think twice!
Agreed, it would cost the initial fee and infrastructure but there are definitely loads of talented people waiting for the chance, it's not something beyond the realm of possibility and something the United World group would all benefit fromI’m not arguing against the use of analytics just saying that no one has replicated Brentford’s model as yet and so it’s not as simple as just saying we should be like Brentford it’s obviously a tricky thing to do.
Perhaps but it isn’t something which would help us in the short or even medium term it took Brentford a long time to reach the levels they are currently at. The United world group should expand our horizons but I don’t think we’ve seen any evidence of it yet.Agreed, it would cost the initial fee and infrastructure but there are definitely loads of talented people waiting for the chance, it's not something beyond the realm of possibility and something the United World group would all benefit from
Like every job..it’s performance based and if you’re performance isn’t good like every other job you’re position is more than likely to be questioned so have a day off mateI have no idea what you do, but imagine someone that doesn't know you, or the job, slagging you off for doing your job, while not knowing what parameters you are working under,,pointless really.
