Crewe usually produce technically decent players but I’ve never seen him to be honest.

selling ramsdale and replacing him with a cheaper alternative and using the balance to freshen the squad wouldn’t be the worst idea imo. As constructed this squad isn’t capable of mounting a play off challenge

Whatever happens, after only managing to see the second half yesterday, it seems pretty clear that we are carrying on where we left off from last season. We look stale, void of creativity and still look like the art of scoring goals will be an issue

The squad needs freshening up, one that allows new ideas and if that means a bit of a clear out then so be it

Surely we don’t lose out on him to a League One side?

He wasn't on the bench so wasn't able to replace Mousset, probably due to his imminent loan, not rocket science is it?
But he should have been on the bench based on his performances last season was the only point of my post and I find it really hard to get my head round the fact that people over infant school reading age can misinterpret that

Maybe I give the readers of this forum too much respect

So we couldn't have put jebbison on the bench ?
Please explain why ?

Jebbison needs to properly develop. Yes he had a couple of good performances in a poor side last season; but so did Jordan Slew all those years ago. 2/3 good performances don’t instantly make you a good player.
The Strikers SJ put on the bench last season are proven at this level.
If Jebbison had been thrown on ahead of any of Sharp, McBurnie or Brewster and had a poor game last night; there would be posters on here asking why we didn’t use the proven strikers.
Jebbison is going out on loan to develop more and as Bladey_blade points out; we shouldn’t jeopardise that.

Thanks for the thoughtful and considered response 👍

Sorry, but I am reasonably switched on and I didn’t read your post in the way that you intended
