Just thought I'd add the postscript to my previous post regarding Sporting Gijon's promotion to spain's primera liga owing to Girona's desperate last minute concession of a goal at home to lowly opposition and how that reminded me of our Blades.
Well, sportsfans, you'll be pleased to know Girona went to Zaragoza in the first leg of the playoff semi final and properly thumped them 0-3 on their own patch.
3 days later they lost the home leg 1-4 and were knocked out on away goals!!!! See, even in Spain they can play the Blades way.
(Girona wear red and white stripes)

Thats football . If we are making the parrellel comparison with the blades equal non fortune , it could be a lucky omen , that this coming season we have dropped the red and white striped shirts , for the new white shirt and kit.

Lets hope Adkins and the new kit work wonders for us:)

Also it just goes to show how you have to aim high for a automatic spot.

This one from a few seasons ago must've been a real sickner for Leicester. It's not just us Blades who suffer in playoffs!

Spanish Play Off Final second leg is yet to be played, it's tomorrow I think. Las Palmas v Zaragoza

I had a dream last night that we won the playoffs. It was all a bit sketchy but still... Half a bottle of Chateauxneuf Du Pape seems to be the secret.

Zaragoza got hold of the playoff handbook, clearly....after a 3-1 home win they just lost 2-0 in Las Palmas, the winner coming 6 minutes from time. Las Palmas go up on away goals.

Brilliant, top flight footie back in the Canaries
