Indeed - and without dragging the past up, comments along the lines of "Murphy will only be sold on FIFA" aren't the wisest.Someone really needs to introduce Mr Baki to www.twitlonger.com
Don't see how Prince can bail unless some fool out there will buy 50% of the club but not have control only joint ownership. Unless either HRH or McCabe agree to sell to their partner can't see any new faces coming in. Like divorce they will bluff it out and inflict damage to each other while they squabble over the family silver. So what happens after May when we are still in L1, will HRH, Jim and Baki be still "United" or will they bail. I'm sure it was more of a "get behind the lads for the rest of the season" comment but the cynic looks at them leaving.

Disappointingly Prince can't show any meaningful interest or do owt for sufc in his current government role and appointing "local influence" is IMO an admission that one owner in Saudi, one in Brussels and one racking up air miles ain't working.
Best if they all feck off if they can't give the club the time and dedication needed and let the Chinese have a bash, at least we know the new pitch will house shiney new offices before we can get out of this piss poor league with our piss poor team.
His use of the phrase "join us until May" is both confusing & has probably created more speculation than intended - which is unfortunate.
It's still far from clear what the 2nd half of the season will bring in terms of either results or the JTW.
It will take something fairly "game changing" to arrest the current downturn in results & shift the current momentum.
We shall see......

Taking it at face value, and not seeing it is part of an eternal global anti-Blade conspiracy it's very welcome.
JimPhipps did the talking -
Changes suggested by JP and the Prince as the club needs a step-change. Their partners agreed..
Aim is to make the club "stronger"
Believes the changes will improve performance both on and off the pitch
Local input will strengthen operations football and business wise. Those involved know and "get" the club and are blades.
Looking to improve the performance of the Football Technical Board and improve commercial operations outside football (eg concerts and other events)
Nigel Adkins and senior members of his coaching staff are on the FTB, alongside new player contract negotiation specialist Carl Shieber (Loughborough University Business School scholar with an MBA in football industries).
Adkins, together with chief scout Lee Turnbull, maintain full authority for identifying transfer targets.
Martin Green is promoted from club vice-president to vice-chairman for commercial and administration.
Simon Westbury, of Sheffield United Limited, becomes acting administration manager until the end of the financial year.
Agree, but in the highly charged & emotive world of football & SUFC his choice of wording needed to be impeccable, it was, nearly, but that one word "until"Damned.if he does. Damned if he doesn't.

And no more than you'd expect.
Really? Do other clubs get this?
They might have used it Rev but then been overridden by somebodyI hope that our negotiation specialist knows the word "no". Previous incumbents have not used the word as much as I would like.
