I think The £430 I paid to sit in the corner is overpriced for 3rd division football never mind the crap dished up this season! Not only that, we spend every match surrounded by all the parents and kids on freebies. Would love to swap my seat to the Kop and save a few quid but at 6ft3" not a chance!.
The club needs to take a serious look at what our Yorkshire neighbours are doing to make season tickets more affordable! but I get a feeling we will get shafted again!

im 6ft 5 and sit on kop

Not local so wouldn't be buying one anyway, but in the hypothetical where I moved back to Sheffield tomorrow, nothing short of sacking Adkins would get me to buy one

If almost 20% of St holders don't renew I wonder how the board would react.

Thinking about where I work, if we lost the orders of 20% of our most loyal customers in a single year the impact would be huge and senior management would make dramatic changes.
I'll be amazed if we only lose 20 % of our season ticket holders next season.

I know a couple of guys who are going to cherry pick games instead of ST,but my 14yr old is in line for his 1st so more or less things probably even out, maybe several hundred wont committ?!?
Sufc is a more than a club,it's a religion so for most of the die-hards its a standard answer regardless of the shite they're watching

Lots of posters in Huddersfield advertising that the first 10,000 Huddersfield Town adult season tickets for anywhere in the ground will be £179 next season.

And that's for Championship level football.

This season, I paid around £470 for mine in the south stand and £150 each for my two lads as young adults.

Next season one of them will be a full adult price and there is no way I am paying for him at £470. And he can't afford it, so that will be that .

If United had a similar offer, I could buy mine AND his for over £100 less than I am paying now for just mine! I would be prepared to do this, and keep him coming to the Lane.

The club need to do some serious thinking about their pricing in view of what others are doing and our current wretched plight.

And just to add. Kids just over £20, anywhere in the ground at Huddersfield.

I know Bradford had a great scheme this Season which saw them attract 18k season ticket sales.

United are really going to have to look at similar options and prices if they have any hope of attracting decent numbers next season.

Just offering that to current season ticket holders would be enough. They'd retain the vast majority of the current season ticket holders if they were priced similar to the Huddersfield ones.

Well each one of those season ticket holders must have brought a new 'negative counting' friend along then and presumably away fans have been banned.

They have only had 4 gates over 18k this season.

I know, I know, no-one likes a smart arse......

I'll be diplomatic and just point out that the exact number of Bradford season ticket holders is not really the issue.

I'm a bit surprised that one other poster has a view on this massive price discrepancy. Does anyone else care that we are likely to be charged a lot more than double Huddersfield fans who will be watching champion football.?

Just wenr down this morning & renewed yeah at times its been horrible but ive good feeling for 16/17 & what else would i do on a sat & i think peter beagrie once saud in a blog pure fact of being a lower league team football is always more downs than ups. actually i would say that for any English team that is outside of the top 8/10 in premier league you could say same, but i still rather take the pain of sheff utd fan than others I know that take the easy way out & become a glory hunter like essex people who support man utd
