One rumour I have heard is tickets to be based on either £125 or £188.90. If the average price last season was say £300x14,000 that would net the club £4,200,000. To recoup the same they would have to sell 33,600 tickets @ £125 and 22,234 tickets @ £188.90. The later with match day tickets full price would be nice :)

Insider knowledge;)

The feel good is back we shifted 11,000 this season if they reduce the cost I can see us selling 17/18,000 for next season!!

A concoction of wishful thinking, a dwindling bank balance and listening to rumours......

So yeh, you could call that ITK
Surly with the cup run you can ask for a pay rise?

would make sense making season tickets cheaper meaning more people buy bigger crowds more money made on sales in the shop, pies, beer and programmes, the loss on season tickets could be made up by more sponsorship as that seems to be the way they are goning as we had a different shirt sponsor for the fa cup semi, our training gear has shout.tv on it so rewarding the fans with cheaper tickets is a win win for them i think. Please let it be true £125 or £188.90 would be great :)

Well I'm considering buying one for the first time in quite a few years...had memberships last few years as couldn't get to all Saturday games due to work but now it's just evening games I'd struggle to get to.

Buying one for the first time in 4 seasons although I will not make the midweek games.
£300 on the kop is reasonable I think.
Like Iggle says, sponsorship from The Prince could allow a special offer to be made.

the £299 on the Kop is a great price plus if i remember if you renewed by a certain date you got £20 off that as well, just think the way Jim Phipps has been speaking on Twitter i am hoping they have thought of something to get more fans to the Lane as the Fulham, Forest and Charlton cup games should have given them a view of what a packed ground can do for the team and season ticket sales are a small part of the income when you think of the bigger picture and where the big money comes from.

though they could do a buy 2 seasons now so to get double the income in this year meaning we have a bigger amount to spend on wages ?

Our season tickets are already very fairly and reasonably priced. Calls for a reduction are unrealistic in my view. HRH is committed to investment in the first team squad, not subsidising our already affordable prices.

The general law of the capitalist economic jungle is that prices go up, not down. The club will not be getting a reduction in wage costs or utility bills. Why should we expect one?

I always used to think that but I think the club get pretty much a set fee from compass with maybe a few percent of sales on top so as far as pies and beer goes it would be great for Compas but not so great for the Blades.

They are taking their time with this, Jim Phipps has indicated they are coming up with a deal that will be well received, bit different to our Piggie friends who are now selling Season Tickets for Season 2016/17......

I wish I could find an image of the piggies "Premier League Return" season ticket offer they did..... Didn't they get relegated? :D

Not sure, but if Mandaric doesn't find a buyer soon I think they're in the sh_t again!!!

I don't think so. But on the up side, the likes of Sibon and De Bilde left them bankrupt for a generation. :)

Don't think the £125/£188.90 idea is any good tbh. It's great getting one for that, but getting the price back up again the following year - particularly after a poor season - would prove very very difficult for the club.

Considering not being NRS anymore, but given attendance at midweek games is a lottery the offer will still need to be a good one.

Didnt Bradford do season tickets for £100 a couple of seasons ago?
