Season tickets have probably peaked now unless we win promotion or we appoint someone like Adkins early in May.

Not be averaging 18k next season in League one more likely 15-16k if Clough is still here, maybe 16 - 17k if he's gone, but unfortunately the mood music from the club is he is going to get the summer transfer window and at least the first half of next season.

Can't see many paying on the day to watch more of the same of what's been served up this season.

I hate the way we play, but sooner or later either Nigel will have a eureka moment and workout that the more chances you create, the more chances you have to score etc; or we find a positive Phil.

Nigel surprisingly is a relative young manager and whether we go up or not this season, hopefully he will have learnt something about himself and us fans. There really are no excuses in not getting out of this division, if you can spend 2m on a full back.

Do you think he's capable of changing? Having a 'eureka moment'?

I wouldn't call 17 unsuccessful years as a manager 'relatively young'. Now Eddie Howe. He's relatively young. And successful. And ambitious.

TC was a great exponent of the hoof ball. Kicking towards the Kop he'd 'hoof' the ball 60 yards . Woody would be running towards the opponents goal and the timing of this hoof and Woody's run meant the ball fell over his shoulder and into his path for him to bury it in the bottom corner. Cue Kop to go mental.

Glad we don't have to put up with this hoof ball nowadays.

Nicely mischievous.

Difference being that Currie would spot the opening, spot the player ready to run on to his passes over the ill-prepared defence and decide in an instant to launch the ball for Woody to run onto. Call it "Currie's hoof" if you want, but its not the same as a game built on the decision to repeatedly launch the ball being made before kick-off.

I think if i can remember right it was somewhere around 13,500 - 14,000

Given the numbers already, what is your pessisium based on?
Attendances this season have maintained a similar level of 19,000 not dropped off hugely when results have been poor.
To hit your 15k estimation that would mean less than 1-2K non Season ticket holders to each match.

We did exceptionally well at the beginning of this season with season tickets because of last seasons success and the expectation of promotion..
Naturally with this season having not gone to plan so far, every one was expecting a fall in the sale of ST,
The fact that so many still believe it can happen must be a right smack in the gob for some some on here.
