We all know that United tried to push the Season Ticket Sales last season, reducing the number of other options was seen by the club as a way of boositing overall ST sales, not sure if it worked, would've thought that mini season tickets would be a worthwhile thing now to cash in on the form and the entertainment, but they obviously can't go back on their word...
Blades Player
Perhaps an incentive like offering BladesPlayer for free to ST Holders and half price to Members could also work.
I'm not sure of the subscribers to Blades Player, but looking at the shout box for midweek games, especially away games (Tues v Huddersfield was a good example) there is a large number that don't have Blades Player, but go to many home games and away games. For them Blades Player isn't probably worth the £50 a year.
I must say that the varety of content is improving and within a couple of days you get highlights AND the full game it might appeal to many
Giving it as part of a ST package would surely boost the subscriber numbers, so this could mean that the club could pitch these figures to potential commercial partners.
It also gives the club an excuse to push up the ST prices slightly as you now get more for your money.
Alternatively they could give the offer with Blades player and without, for example:
KOP ST & Blades Player Subscription £320
KOP ST no BP - £299
I'm sure its viable
