I have recently retired from an industry I have worked in for over 40 years in various guises. I am no luddite but do question new methods around IT. Over the years there have been a few thing which have greatly enhanced the way I live and work and I welcome them gladly. However there have been MANY more 'new ways of working' which have been far worse than the older methods, waste time and money and I have baulked against them.
I get accused of all sorts.
If people are happier using new systems then that is great, I have no issue with that. But I am not happy about the lack of choices given to accommodate this. And of course we see the effect every day of how AI etc is taking away the human element to business and life, for the worse imo.
Change is good if it improves things, that is my simple mantra.
But I find a lot of change is brought in by inexperienced people who have a 'love in' with technology just for the sake of it.
Don't get me started on self service checkouts and 'on boarding' with companies!!!
 
Has anyone had problems downloading their new season ticket? I’ve remove my old one from my apple wallet as instructed. When I try to log in to SUFC it says enter the code sent to my email to verify it. When I do that it constantly keeps saying invalid code. Can anyone help please?

There's a new IT system, I found that creating a new account (re-registering old account) was the easiest way forward after phoning the ticket office twice.
After my 'new' account was set up ticket downloaded in seconds.
Finding the button to register for a new account was a challenge, it is not located in the 3 hashbars on the top right, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page.

The 'new' account found all my ticket purchases since 2016, so information is not lost.

It's probably just the usual enhanced security malarky. Maybe Dozy hacked the system and stole all our information?

I’ve moved from card to phone season ticket .. should I have had an email to download it ?

They might send them out in batches?
Maybe wait a couple of days, check your spam box if nothing has arrived then call the ticket office.

I had changed my email address in February but the system sent the ticket to the old email address.

I like how you can select English or French on the system, does this mean we are expecting a large influx of French supporters or players?
