Season cards setting off security sensors in supermarkets

It’s happened to me every now and again, over the years.
Never knew what it was but I also keep my season ticket card permanently in my wallet.

The thing I find funny is that no one ever stops me.
It’s as though the shop assistants are bored of the false alerts
Or maybe it’s because I’m old and have a trusting face, so they automatically think I won’t be a shop lifter.

Wednesday fans are reporting the same thing happening with their season cards, but it's just a 'Premier League in 5 Years' alarm to keep the mugs forking out.

The only store where this phenomenon fails is Sainsbury’s, because Sainsbury’s only exists to keep the riff-raff out of Waitrose
