Thought it was the opening two lines from a John Cooper Clarke piece of work.
Quite frankly, fabulous alliteration by the OP.
I just keep it in my wallet usually, but have put it in a drawer for the close-season.
He doesn’t go away.Insufficient loyalty points warning ?
Prison wallet?I have a secret lucky place to keep it, I think that is the real reason for our 2 promotions in 3 years.
Europa League qualificationI can't see us getting promoted next season though.
Not Champions League? Pessimist.
Stop picking on me for being a realist, I know how JJ aka topplayer feels now![]()
Every time I left Aldi or Sainsbury's, or several shops in town, the security sensors would go off and everyone would look at me. I wasn't sure if it was my phone, my work pass or the key fob for my car. Eventually I took my SUFC season cards out of my wallet and it stopped happening. Anyone else have this problem?
something weird going on there. you should report it i'm sure they'd be interested. thing is, every card you have that does contactless has a similar device. nfc can only work if it is within around half a cm max of the reader. as you know electricity creates magnetism and vice versa. the chip in the card is designed so that if you place it near a magnetic field then the resulting electricity is enough to boot the IC, let it do it's stuff and go back to sleep again. Brilliant invention. Invented in Austria. As you know i worked in Austria..connect the dots..Every time I left Aldi or Sainsbury's, or several shops in town, the security sensors would go off and everyone would look at me. I wasn't sure if it was my phone, my work pass or the key fob for my car. Eventually I took my SUFC season cards out of my wallet and it stopped happening. Anyone else have this problem?
Happens with warrant cards as well, although it is a bit odd if you're just carrying your season card with you unless it's a match day.
I have no problem with my season card when I am purchasing my smoked salmon from Waitrose or M & S. May I suggest you shop at one of these two fine establishments.
Carry mine around all the time in my wallet (including during off season) as its not exactly a brick is it...
The minute I take it out to store until match day is the day I turn up to the match without it.
I am amazed at how many of you carry your season ticket about with you every day, unlike myself, I only carry it around with me on match days.
In keeping with our new status, I now only shop at Waitrose and Coles
Coles .![]()
Not been into town since 2002 , eh Fred ?
I am a traditionalist Isaw, still call it Redgates, even though it has been knocked down and rebuilt, same with the shop on the corner of Shoreham and Cherry Street, always call that Bri and Irene's.
