He's our Director of Football, or the equivalent thereof

Oh right. I've just tried Googling him (I like to ask first, I find Google is so impersonal) but only found a jeweller, a writer, a Tory MP and a chap from 1800s America. He was the 25th governor of Kentucky, don't ya know.

Anyway, I'm assuming it's none of those, as much as I'd like it to be the American one, if only because he'd be a 201 year old cowboy type, what's our John Stevenson's background? Usually directors of football seem to be failed or retired managers (Barry Fry, Piggy Pleat etc). Does he fall into this category?

It's another loan though isn't it. If there's an option to buy at the end then great, but if not, whatever is going on?

Don't think he has a management background. Had the same position at Watford I believe which may have coincided with Julian Winters time there??

Ooooo, a youth player on loan from mighty Watford. Please, please, please let this be true.

Decent player Murray BUT it is another loan player and if he performs well will no doubt get called back.

Right now, it's like they play a different sport than we do. Beggars can't be choosers, and the bowl has been out with arms stretched for some time now. If this kid is good and available, get him in.

I'd take this loan move any day of the week. At the end of the day, he's fighting to get into a side with the likes of Abdi, Forrestieri, Battochio, Iriney and McGugan who would walk into virtually any side in the Championship.

It might only be a loan, but it's better than having nobody. With the way Watford are going there's no reason why it couldn't potentially turn into a permanent move depending on circumstances.

A season loan with the option to buy would be a good move for us.

Not heard anything about us being interested in him, doubt it'll happen

Got excited until I saw the source was blades Bastarding mad.

On the latest audioboo, Weir says he's not looking at this player.

He says they constantly check the market and have a list for each position but they aren't close to signing anyone.

I hope the last bit changes in the next 10 days
