Glad to see him gone. Loved the injection of energy he gave the team, but it came in short spurts and didn't amount to much. Spent most of his time here on his arse or chasing shadows. Not good enough even for League 1.

I said this btw at the beginning of last season and I said the same about Matt Done.

Don't mean to be harsh but if you truly love the Blades then sometimes you just have to call it as you see it and not pander to populist views or sentimental nonsense. In 85% of games he was utter tripe. Move on laddie and good luck.

Well done sir, you've won a prize!! Knobhead post of the day.

Cheers for the memries Scoogs, glad you sorted yourself out.

Nothing against the lad and good luck to him (I sent him a message on Twitter a few weeks ago that he acknowledged).

However I don't quite get the love in.

The kid put himself about first off and like I told him, scoring for the Blades at Wembley is a big deal, but his all round contribution over 3 years or whatever hasn't yielded much more imho.

Lots of running around but not too many tackles, little or no assists, and a handful of goals at best.

Two memories
Best goal was away at Milton Keynes. We still held a hope that day.

Personal one was seeing him and Mrs scoogs at the Woodstock with Jamie Murphy and Chris porter. Team mates then. Now.. One in premier league, one in Scotland and one where?

To be that small needed more skill, commitment great. But just not enough.

Seems a really nice bloke, and gave his all for the team, but not good enough.

Our fans love a tryer, and he seems like a nice bloke.

Imagine if he left a cuntish Tweet one time or was involved in a jumper related incident though...

Big drop in wages for him. The basic wage at St Johnstone was £300 last season .

Albeit none of us will ever forget the performance and goal at Wembley , and which as everyone agrees good luck to the lad . However if that's the level of basic wage at St Johnstone , it sums him up for me . No real queue for his signiture . Also from a fans perspective , as the blades evolve , I would be more concerned if he was on the retained list and still here .

good luck scoogs ! you contributed to those 100pts this season if it wasnt for his goal and his (very good)assist against MK in october we may well have fell just short of our famous tally.
wether you played 1 game or 40 everyone played there part, scoogs certaintly did

If you think about successful football midgets, your Bremnerys and your Stilesys, they were horrible little bastards at a time when tackling was still widely permitted in the game. Now that defending is about positioning, blocking off runners and the odd crafty shoulder barge, anyone of Scougs' stature will struggle, I'm afraid.

In other news, Wagon Wheels used to be bigger, cheese had more of a taste to it and chaps would raise their hat to a lady.

Yes
Players as small as Scougall need to have technical attributes that are beyond belief

Messi shows it's not all about size, but having said that Messi is very quick in mind as well as his legs
And for his size he's no weakling either

......as well as their cocks, as true today as it was then I think you'd agree.

I do believe the decline of raising a hat to a lady has correlated with the decline of the number of "ladies" out there.
