Like many of our supporters and wider TV watchers of second tier football, I have a keen interest in joining McCabe with investments in Australian shopping centres. I am told that he is the world's luckiest man property wise/genius re Valad and 100% always does business on his terms.

As such, why when I google this website as advertised on a hoarding at the kop end nowt comes up?

I am very disappointed and would not want to miss out. If he can do it why can't I? I have £350 to invest. All good things start from nothing.

Anyone know how Trev went on in India?

why dont you invest your £350 in a big banner saying im obsessed with kevin mcabes business dealings ?
might cost a bit more than your original intended outlay but think of the joy you will have

Funnily enough I had a 'F*** your property, where's the wedge gone?' banner ready for Saturday but they wouldn't let me in - burst into flames when tested so the sods owe me for that now. I won't hold my breath.

Can I just say Judgey that I am always honoured when you post on a string like this.

:D....... no fookin AMBITION !

I heard a little dickie bird telling someone that Trevor and a rich Indian business man sat down to watch the match on saturday in Chennai but he (Indian) left after 60 minutes saying I have no interest in the UK pantomime industry. Any good? There's more if you want.

Were there any flags at all? None shown on telly.

I keep getting told that we have assets of an equivalent value which I assume means he could liquidate the hotel, realty and SUFC and get his money back. That is what I am told by the experts on here so don't you worry Judgey - he aint daft McCabe as BB says.

I think you are totally wrong by the way in saying the club owes him £50m.

The club (plc and it subsids) owes the bank alot of money. well over £25m but I aint got time to check. I am far from convinced that the value of the properties is in excess of this.

I am pleased that we apparantly hardly owe anything football wise to bank and if McCabe gets the Tevez wedge then we won't owe him much at all.

I don't expect anyone to chuck wedge at a football club, but I'd expect a club of our stature to have a coherent strategy for building a squad and would actually own the odd fit centre-half rather than circa 5 full backs all of whom are useless.

Maybe I don't. But, where in the accounts does it say crditor - directors loan £50m?

Tell me because I'm interested.

It's quite a bold statement what you've just made so I reckon you should try and back it up and make me look as daft as you think I am. I won't cry because it's happened before and will happen again.

None shown on the Radio either. :)

I saw one very small one on seats in bottom corner of John Street and somat got passed over heads on kop before the game which looked ok but nowt special. Palace fans had to hold their one and I understand it got taken off em by stewards. The whole flag thing was in keeping with the game - a total and utter farce.

Nice one Judgey - sensational.

I'll try again. Where does it say under creditors - directors loan £50m?

Don't know the figures off the top of my head but I think £26 million is owed to the Bank of Scotland through a "mortgage" secured against the hotel. As far as I am aware the mortgage payments have been paid - a bit like owning your own house - so there is not an issue here and is basically a paper figure of debt - a bit like owning a hotel.

The rest is made up of loans to various Scarborough groups secured through share holdings and issues and very little in terms of cash debt (unlike our friends across the city).

Not seen this years accounts though although they are due out anytime.

Depends if it's sunny or not Mic.

Too complicated for me.

Valad has a business park here in Boston, Lincs on the site of a former canning factory.

I've never seen McCabe there. Make of that what you will.

i was just about to read that riveting article when i was distracted by two drops of water falling down my window
quite an exciting race i 'll tell ya
