Thought he played really well in the first half.2nd half he tailed off but hardly surprising considering how we fell apart in the 2nd half.

If he had better quality ahead of him I think that would help a great deal if we had the likes of Nathan Redmond and Danny Ings running at the opposition like Southampton did I think it would be a totally different story.

Think he had a good first half, several times showing what he does better than Norwood, i.e. covering space, making more interceptions and generally being stronger defensively. But Norwood is a better playmaker, gets more involved and can dictate games if he's given some time on the ball.

When Berge is played in the central role we need more players who love having the ball, players with confidence, composure and creativity. Swift may be one such player, but there will have to be more.

Lad is 22 and had a few months playing in a league that is levels above what he has played before. Technically he is gifted and he will only get better.

His timing, leap, bravery, man marking and heading technique is probably below average, so we shouldn't expect him to be commanding in the air.

I think it's easy to spot when a shorter opponents climbs above him, i.e Ward Prow. But it is not true that he doesn't win any.

On the deck I think he's shown good strength a number of times.
