One up front - always isolated and can't hold the ball up
Wingers instructed to turn back and not put ball in box
Number 10 more interested in flick ons and is 7 stone wet through
Centre midfield non existent
When we get the ball 7-8 players stand like statues

Game after game after game

Change the record Wilder, it's painful!

I’d take another defeat if he tried something different and at least had a go

Could still be playing tomorrow and we wouldn’t score

Wouldn’t want this lot in the trenches with you would ya?
We can go down trying this shite that we know doesn't work or we can at least pretend to have some nous and change it up.

He's had 5 games and played at least 3 formations. I don't think sticking with the same tactics can be blames since he came in. Crap players can (amongst other things).

The tactical changes are nothing to do with how we attack and all about how we defend, and these have not been a rip roaring success either.

I'd he happy with a 3-4 loss at the moment as at least it would relieve the boredom of watching us do literally nothing!

That was why we wanted a change from CW after last season, but again we got a pretender instead of a proven manager..

COH took the cheap option, then got CW back, and his style of play...

I'm backing wilder to keep us up this season, I think he will, but thats about it..

Pigs will beat us, we're so wank at attacking..

We’re playing better than the Selles performances imo.
Definitely and even though we are still not playing well had a last minute goal disallowed v Southampton and lost today to a deflected shot and missed a penalty. Having said that a big improvement is needed, we are still paying the price for a wasted summer and yes we are in a relegation scrap.

The report says we saw plenty of the ball, but what use is that if we do nothing with it? Got to be the worst attack I have seen in years from us. For the life of me I cannot see what CW is trying to do, I said last year he is no tactician, but anyone can see we offer nothing on attack, so please try something different. What about 2 strikers, crosses in the box, first striker change being R One, early balls played, change the midfield set up, get them fitter and mix it up a bit by playing short and long. Drop players who are clearly not performing, read the riot act to them, and take a chance with others, can it possibly be any worse?

Surely for professional players and management this is not rocket science?

We were the better side today. Limited them to one chance they created and a fuck up from Mcguinness putting Mcburnie in. We had a few great chances, the pen and should've had another for the stamp on Campbell's foot. We also had a lot of ball in great areas.

The worry for me is the lack of chance creation from the left and from the triumvirate of O'Hare, Peck and Hamer. Campbell also looks lazy, unfit and isn't stretching teams in the channels or over the top. He looked like an unfit player being asked to go again today. The trio mentioned earlier can be forgiven a bit for the lack of chance creation due to the lack of striker to 'hit' imo. I've knocked set pieces all season but a lot of them were good today. You can't have four or five huge players like that and not attack those.
Burrows loss of form is absolutely huge for us. McCallum was steady today but we know it's an in form Burrows we need. It's obviously a tough one whether to persist yet again as he's been dire this season.

10 shots on target in Selles first 2 home games v 4 in wilders first 2, same number of points, and away we have probably had 4 shots on goal under wilder against 2 teams in relegation battle, as opposed to 0 under Selles against 2 promotion favourites, id say there is little to no improvement

That’s a low bar though isn’t it. We are still shite considering the supposed quality of the players we have.

Yes. It’s a low bar.

Re: Quality of players.

Barring Tanganga we’ve brought in kids with little experience and old players at the end of their careers…oh and the odd crock.

Whether it’s hamer, ohare, peck, matos, soumare or davis, none offer what we need. Which is someone to put their foot in and break up an attack, win a tackle and get the ball back, then play it forward, or to at least pass to a hamer or Davis. I am ambivalent about wilders return, but he has been left with a squad ill equipped in centre midfield and up front.

It's really not against Selles we were making chances keepers were making saves, and we had much tougher fixtures

Were we?

Ten minutes of Bristol aside ( where we were stuffed 1-4 at home) I thought it looked a lot worse…but each to their own.
