3 home games in 7 days coming up. IF we are going to be a force this year - then we need our investment in attacking weapons to begin to show a return this week.
Changes for Crewe? Or send them out again to give combinations more time?
No DCL on bench on Sat - is he out of picture or injured?

DCL is injured , but took part in warm up on Saturday, against Crewe I would give some off the players in the bench a run out.

I'd give some of the lads on the periphery a run out but keep the defence the same as any successful team always has a consistent back line.

Disagree, Sharp and Clarke look like being our first choice strikers and they need to build an understanding so I'd start both tomorrow night

Fuck that, best eleven or at least Tufty's best eleven ..... win every game, full steam ahead ..

Maybe them Albatross's will fall off the stern .................

Strong case for both IMHO.

I would normally go with fringe players for most cup games but the squad is relatively new and could do with maximum pitch time together to gel.

Same back five, only a couple of changes elsewhere.

Long

Brayford Wilson O'Connell Hussey

Duffy Basham Fleck Scougall (DCL if fit)

Clarke McNulty

No question for me after losing Saturday....same side.

Back 5 need as much game time as possible as organisation and partnerships are absolutely key.
Sharp and Clarke will lead the line, and need goals to get going.

Only area needing a bit of compassion is midfield. They do most running so same side then look at changes after an hour.
