Wigan are away at Forest today, It will be fascinating to see if Sam Morsy, the ex-Chesterfield midfielder is involved. He hasn't been in the match day squad at all in recent games. It may be that Wigan would be willing to let him go.

I appreciate this is all left-field speculation but I mention it because he has always looked a decent player and I think he could do a job for us.

Agreed?
It is really funny you should say that. By the strangest of coincidences, I was sat looking at today's fixture list, pondering my weekly charity donation to the William Hill profit margin, when I noticed the game Nottingham Forest v Wigan Athletic. And it just triggered something in my mind that Wigan had a player who used to play for Chesterfield of whom I had heard people say, although I am struggling to remember where I had heard it, could possibly "do a job" in the Sheffield United Football Club midfield. So I went into the font of all knowledge that is Wikipedia, and lo and beyond I discovered a young chap by the name of Sam Morsy. Gosh, I thought, that's him. So with a little more research on Dr Google (having also discovered at the same time that a pain in my little toe would probably be terminal for me in the next 6-8 weeks) I also found out that he has not been in their matchday squad all season. Gosh, I thought again, roll on to two o'clock when today's teams are announced. If he is not in the team or on the subs bench, I wondered if he could possibly be signing for Sheffield United Football Club and all those who thought he could "do a job" may actually know something the rest of us don't. I wonder if they could also help me with my charitable donation.

Added a post for the sake of getting this thread to 100, so we can move on from Morsy.

I can help. Pile on Sheffield United at 13/5. Printing money...

Put a tenner on him 1st goalscorer.
That's the Forrest game not ours.
I'm definitely not ITK about Morsy, in fact he could be sat next to me on the tram now and I wouldn't recognise him.

You won't regret it.

ITK.
Oops. Golly gosh. My error (or my bad as the kiddies say these days because I am down with it). Realised I put that little dot thing in the incorrect place. It should have read £5.00 Now, where's the ketchup?

I can assure you he isn't. He is sitting in the next chair to me at the hairdressers. I tried to ask him if he was signing for the Blades but he's busy telling the stylist where he's going on holiday. I got a pic though.

ITH.

SwissBlade is the new ITK guru. Nailed last few announcements but kept it low key
ha ha not sure about nailed it or being ITK, just confirmed what others had said on Brayford. as for the Wallace, he's been on and off the bench recently, so thats not new, but i did hear that he's back in favour... Whether its correct we'll see

Guessing he won't be in our squad for today's game then.
