What's it like to piss a league? - I've forgotten :(

Well, in typical Wigan fashion, they certainly didn't make it look easy, at least from our point of view! Slow start as expected because of the massive turnover of players and a lack of team chemistry, but from around January to April I agree we dominated, and it was a pleasure to watch a team of players who gave their all for the club as opposed to previous Championship season when most players were just there to collect a salary.

Perhaps Sheff U could've done the same if they weren't weighed down by the Irish marvel that is Conor Sammon. He was a Premier League regular for us back in 2012 and yet somehow we still survived. Miracles an' all ey? ;)

Morsy again not in the match day squad for Wigan. Surely Morsy wouldn't want to stick around at Wigan, its obvious he's not in their plans. That said maybe we've not even bid, its impossible to be certain isn't it.

Nah, Wiggers - we're cursed

Is your seat made of something more expensive than plastic, Wiggers?
I prefer standing, anyway
It was more of a figure of speech than anything, Kenilworth. ;) Millwall have enough trouble preventing their own fans from ripping seats up, so best not add to their worries!

At least it was only two yellow cards
When we were at 'Wall last season we conceded a goal after 90 seconds, where the red seas just parted, as immiscible as oil and water, and our back four just tickled the lads testicles for him as he stroked it home - it was that lad Taylor on loan from your rivals Blackburn. Anyway we contrived to create the best part of fuck all for the remaining 88.5 minutes and didn't have a shot on goal.
We didn't use the seats much - just stood there in wild apathy at the futile tactics of the wizard in charge.

If he plays well for Egypt then bigger teams could come calling. We need to sign him NOW

It's not happening buy the sounds of it ! Blackburn and Barnsley now in talks with him .

We surely could've had him.

What a fine fuck up this will turn out to be.

I would've thought we could at least get him on loan until January, that would appear to suit Morsy and Wilder.

Wigan are looking to sign Josh Vela from Bolton, an even more direct competitor for Morsy's position than Shaun MacDonald. And again he failed to make the squad tonight. There's no future there for him at all. We really should've got this done by now. And if Wilder's not that keen, then he should be.

I`m seriously begining to think it wouldn`t matter Herb. There is something totally wrong on virtually level with our club. If we were a sick dog we`d be put down.

Hello! Breaching enemy lines somewhat, however I visit in peace! I was genuinely shocked to see the fervent interest in Sam Morsy here (although I assume not all 88 pages of this is exclusively talk about the little Egyptian!), so I thought I'd provide you guys the latest information we have in regards to the situation from the Wigan side of things, at least to the best of my knowledge!

Wigan have stocked up on midfielders as of late, with the signings of Alex Gilbey and Nick Powell pushing Morsy down the ranks, and with the potential incoming of Josh Vela from Bolton, Morsy could be found even more isolated. Despite this, Morsy seemingly wants to continue pushing for a squad spot, and is certainly not desperately looking for a way out of Wigan. However, Morsy hasn't even featured in the last two squad selections, but it appears as if this is not because Morsy is actively being shopped, but that he's just not been worthy of playing at the moment, more than likely because he's had his head turned by agent talk and interest from other teams.

There was information from a 'Sky Source' claiming Morsy was off to Scunthorpe. I'm fairly sure this is rubbish, and any potential interest from Scunthorpe was turned down by Morsy, since it seems he's only willing to leave if a more grand offer comes in.

In short, there's certainly still a chance Morsy comes to you guys, so I wouldn't completely count out the chances of it happening as some of you here have seemingly done.
I've heard we are not interested.

If we were a team of sick dogs we'd have more points from home games than the current team

He shouldn't be if he doesn't think he will fit into the system he wants to play

nearly 1800 posts on signing a player who Wilder has said he is not interested in....quite pathetic really isn't it ?

Well if you're talking system he's more use than Basham in a two or three man central midfield, in any role.

He'd be a big upgrade on what we have, is aggressive, is a leader and is 100% available. That's why Wilder should be interested.

and that justifies a 89 page thread (so far) on a player CW says he doesn't want to sign ?

Jordi Gomez has now re-signed for Wigan.

I think Morsy must be on his way out even if its just on loan.

There should be a rule in football, if there is an 89 page thread on a team's forum about a player signing he should have to join you on a free.

.....even if he was going to join, after last night he certainly won't!
I was thinking that. The 3 apparent imminent signings, Grant, Morsy and Lavery have probably all decided against coming to us now after realising as to who they'll be playing alongside.

I'm feeling all gloom and doom at the mo. Who would want to join us? Would you, if you were Morsey, Grant or Lavery? I would SERIOUSLY want to be away from where I am.

Yay we made it page 90!

Seen as though we are all fed up of football let's switch to a Cricket scenario. Will this be the nervous 90s, seeing us chuck our wicket away in a hasty slash outside of off stump? Or will we show the resolve and character needed to push onto the big 100?!

Fingers crossed we get players in before the weekend, another showing like last night and they'll all be running the other way!
