What about the other 37 pagesI'm late, may someone tell me whether this is legitimately happening or not because I'm not reading 20 pages of potential drivel.

We'd be fucked wouldn't we lol . I would send our lass to crack the codes ."Bletchley"
This has got Hammond MkII written all over it. People are getting far too excited.
Is it today dad?
I agree, slightly above average holding midfielder, whose passing range is 1-15 yards. This has got Hammond MkII written all over it. People are getting far too excited.
He has scored one more goal this year than Hammond has, so that's quite exciting – though Hammond had a further 5 goals that were unseen I believe.
Every description of Morsy seems to be of a non-scoring defensive midfielder. Which is exactly the type of player I thought Wilder made clear when he joined that he didn't want.
Since Wigan accepted the £400K bid from Scunthorpe it's all gone eerily quiet at the Scunthorpe end.
Anyhow a poster last night claiming to have a fantastic/ reliable source (who can't be named) spilt a few beans. He said we spoke to Morsey and he's agreed a deal to join us.
Apparently he's definitely signing for us today or tomorrow.
We're loaded anywayseen some stuff on twitter about the deal at Scunny stalling. Hope this is not a ruse just to push the price up.
But Wilder says we are not interested why do posters keep this thread going ,it's dead in the water.what would be of more interest is the rumour about Lavery being in talks with us.We have had seem good signings from the pigs in the past, maybe there is some truth in this,he's got pace by all accountsThis whole transfer has been a bit of a soap drama shrouded in mystery.
Apparently when Morsy heard about interest from Sheff Utd and MK Dons he said doesn't want to drop down to league 1 and would prefer to fight for his place at Wigan ( seems a fair comment).
Wigan say it would take a lot of money to price him away because he's in their plans.
Morsey was a regular for Wigan last year, played in the friendlies over the Summer but was only a sub in their first match of the season. Maybe he's not in their plans afterall?
Amazingly little Scunthorpe make a bid of £400,000 and its accepted with rumours that Morsey goes to speak to Scunthorpe.
Now why would Morsey be interested in joining Scunthorpe? It doesn't make sense.
It's like us offering Barcelona 200 million for Messi and offering him 1 million a week wages, he still wouldn't come.
You would think the last thing Morsey wants is a return to league 1.
Therefore it's got to be for really big wages or a career move in joining a big club with ambition and a good chance of promotion.
If you had the choice either playing for Scunthorpe in front of 4,000 or playing for Sheff Utd in front of 20,000 it's not a difficult decision is it?
The way I would look at it is if he comes Wilder has done exactly what we wanted him to in the midfield area, we will have signed 3 of the best middies in the league ...Fleck, Duffy and Morsy....if we add a very pacy winger I can't see that we could have done any better ?He has scored one more goal this year than Hammond has, so that's quite exciting – though Hammond had a further 5 goals that were unseen I believe.

A Morsy decoder? There seems to be a culture of denial and half-truths in most manager's interviews right now. Look at Gary Rowett's response after Wilder's comments saying “He’s certainly not here having a medical as we speak,” and we're looking at plenty of players, just two hours before Adams signed for him.
I know it's never over till they sign on the dotted line, remember Cresswell 'definitely signing' and being on his way to the Lane for the formality of his medical, but diverting to the Dirties en rout. But these days managers are so noncommittal it's untrue, most are so cagey with transfers that you need a decoder to suss-out even the gist
58 pages so far. This thread is getting like the Dean Hammond thread of last season. And that ended well.J

that is something we are short of.

Mr Cowens says something is happening...
Strong in the tackle, and difficult to knock of the ball. We'll soon coach that out of him.I take your point but I think Morsy adds a bit more than that. He is very strong in the tackle and difficult to knock off the ball when he has it, which is something we don't really have in CM. Fleck and Basham are probably both better technically in their own ways but Morsy would add twice the bite in there.
I agree that folk seem to be pinning a lot of hope on one player and in our experience that can only go one way, especially if he gets off on a stinker, but fingers crossed he fits in and does a good job if he signs. Wilder's interview seems to hint it is happening.
Javier Bardem is coming round all our houses with that dodgy wig and cow killing thing to put us all out of our misery...? No...?
You sound like a pig. Attendances mean sweet FA. Bournemouth's ground holds 11,000. Would you rather play for them or us?
Last season:
Scunthorpe - 7th, 74pts, 13pts behind Wigan.
Sheff Utd - 11th, 66pts, 21pts behind Wigan.
That "may" sway things.
I'm late, may someone tell me whether this is legitimately happening or not because I'm not reading 20 pages of potential drivel.
I'd prefer to play to a large audience in a great stadium, most people would.
Also most players are ambitious and prefer to play for ambitious clubs going for promotion.
So regards your question I'd rather play for Bournmouth in the PL.
It's top class football and you get to play at some great stadiums and large crowds.
Of course salary plays a part too but for me it's not the most important.
Job satisfaction and career progression is probably more important.
Taking of your bias glasses a move to Sheff Utd is seen as a better career move than going to Scunthorpe. Or do you disagree? Ha
Think you must be in the minority if playing for clubs with massive support like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Dortmund etc in great stadia isn't an attraction.
