But it was a non starter, we had Dean Hammond - for another 4 months. And obviously he'd be available for free in the summer because clearly no one was going to sign him in January.

So you're OSRITK (one step removed). For what it's worth I think Sun and Nixon were right at the time but things have unexpectedly changed. It's not unusual in football and can go back the other way just as quickly.

It's just terminology really. By most people's definition Treeton is ITK, but not by his own. I like him, He doesn't make a big deal or drama about it like some enjoying their fifteen fame-filled minutes...

Plenty of things could still happen. Wigan might be getting rid of Morsey to bring in another midfielder, but because that might be a slow burner they have to play Morsey to give him game time.

Maybe we have pulled out because we have found out why Wigan are trying to sell him. It's never usually black and white.

In was a very good site ruined as previously stated with some excellent posters. Every site has people that annoys us (Barneys rubbed me up too) but I suppose that's what it's all about. Opinions. Was this site really that perfect before a BM invasion? Why do a minority in here still feel like they are better than those who defected across?
For what it's worth I think this is a better site and the more posters there is contributes more to the topics and discussions

It always seems odd to me that a move seems almost nailed before it comes out that the player was reluctant to join all along.

3. Genuinely isn't ITK but has been told by someone very close to the club and therefore ITK.
He may not want to reveal his source as it could get them in trouble and/or, they may never offer any further information to Treeton Blade
I'm going 3.

Also, some players get game time in order to attract scouts that might be in the game, at the same time seeing if they still fit in.

Sounds more or less like a wages issue, where Morsy probably wants more than he is on to drop down which is a no no with our new boss.

As for the thread subject I desperately wanted Morsy here but if his heart and head aren't in it its best he doesn't sign . One concern I did have was the height problem given potential midfield pairings including Reed, Scoogs (both look small and lost in the friendly) and Fleck who looked in the game. That said if we can see the height issues CWcan and wouldn't risk a small overpowered midfield.
