As I understand it, we are the only League one club he would have signed for, not least because of the Paul Mitchell connection. CW, rightly or wrongly (I would have liked him here, personally) wasn't all that keen.

and yet Pinchy, people still seem to think we were in for him, and yet as you rightly say CW was not keen at all, in fact one of the few player he spoke about not looking at.
