I have 3 sons in their early 20s. I am obviously very proud of them and their achievements. At only 18 years of age, SamCurtis iseverything you could hope for in a son.

Astute, self aware, positive and speaks so well. I have not seen him play yet, but his attitude and outlook are spot on.

A great perspective for one so young. His parents have every right to be hugely proud of him. I can only hope that his footballing ability matches his deft speaking skills!

I think how a footballer speaks and presents themselves tells a great deal about them as player. I'm always impressed when a young player comes across as well as Curtis does here.
Have you heard Ben Brereton Speak ?
Typical thick as pudding footballer trotting out the usual response to every question
"Yea no definitely".......

Yes excellent interview!
Confident young man and shows the right attitude.
All players are not that comfortable speaking to the media( video)especially young ones so don't tar every player with the same brush.
He has some hard work to put in now to bridge the gap between Irish league and championship ,hopefully he will take it in his stride.

Really enjoyed that interview thanks for posting.

Lovely genuine lad and wish him all the success. Pronounces "genuinely" quite funny though!

Got a nice little assist for Ireland youth last night.

Got high up the pitch to put the cross in from his wing back role.

He reminds me a bit of Gareth Bale, destined to move up the pitch eventually to a winger role.

Sheffield United social media already creaming over it. Just need him to do a crunching tackle next game to save our season.

I would think/ hoping this means Shackleton's injury isn't that serious if we're letting someone who plays rb going out on loan.
