You have to ask…is there any potential owner out there who has the funds or ability to sort this mess out?

Because all I see coming with the current owner and his “team” on the board is relegation followed by similar performances in the championship.
And we’d STILL have to sell players if we go down…leaving us with fucking what exactly!?!?

If that twat hasn’t found a buyer and completed the sale before the end of this season I’m seriously concerned where we are heading, because a challenge for promotion and a NOT possible next time.

I’d love us to have a wealthy, ambitious owner with the best interests of the club at heart and a long term plan to establish us in the top flight.

Reality is, there are plenty worse owners than the one we have. On current evidence not many managers could do worse than the one we have.

One is easier to shift than the other.

To be serious for a moment, right now is not a good time to be offloading an asset whether it’s a house or a football club because the costs of a purchaser financing that purchase - interest rates - are up. Just as house prices need to fall to maintain affordability (principal + affordability) so does the price of football clubs.

Especially shit ones.

We spent near 10m more than them if you go on the estimated fees. Do you think their wage budget is the same as ours?
