How many more matches are people willing to give the clown?
I cannot believe that people come out with logical reasons to get rid then say perhaps three more games or give him to Christmas - we have lost the last four away games on the bounce and havn't won at home since mid September!
Why not wait until we are in the bottom 3 before we jettison the idiot - get rid now before it's too late!

I've decided that, despite not being a fan throughout his time in charge, that Blackwell deserves our support for a little longer.

I was really reassured to hear (second hand) that one of the few players who remains a big favourite is a fan of Blackwell. For me, if the players (and I'm going on a sample of one) are behind him then things can't be that bad.
Appreciate your comments CB, just thought I'd add the fact that the players were still publically backing Robson up until the day he was binned.

This was a player backing him in private though, a hundred times more meaningful.

Been away for the last few days, didn't get to listen to the Blackpool game, which is probably a good thing.

I wasn't expecting any pleasant comments about our manager, but some of the ones i've read are disgusting. Whether you like him or not is irrelevant, whether you back him or not is also. Blackie's struggling at the moment. Thats not in dispute.

People on here have chosen to pick every little issue that they have with the club and have a go at McCabe, Blackie, players and even the club shop and the support of charities. The name calling and childish jibes are just ridiculous. Is that what this Forum is about?

I've even read about people wanting us to lose. Thats true support for the club.

I read last week that people were complaining about McCabe being quiet, so he came out and spoke. But because it wasn't what they wanted to hear, people have another go.

Lots of comments have mentioned "be careful what you wish for", I didn't use this forum last season, but I never heard the Blackwell haters last season. If so many of you never wanted him in the first place then why weren't you willing us to lose last season.

I'm behind Blackie, believe that within a few more games we can get back on track, I want us to stop the rot, today we need to concentrate on getting the defence right again. Back to Basics. I said a similar thing before Scunny, but for whatever reason it hasn't happened yet.

Come on Blackie, get the lads together again and shut the abusive few up.

Hi Swiss,
Been out to buy some more rose tinted specs
This is a forum with many varied views and how boring if everyone on here had the same opinions.
I've been away too but it didn't stop me from reading and listening to Blackwells inane and arrogant comments after the Blackpool debacle.
Blackwell stated that the Blades were the best team, unfortunate and that he is not worried.
mr Blackwell is the manager of our side, if you like he is the train driver do you wonder why so many are wanting to get off the train whilst he is in the driving seat:(
Swiss, get real, by blindly stating he will turn things round will not change a thing Today will be exactly the same lump up to Henderson lose control of the ball and repeat next time we get the ball.
If I see 15 minutes of the type of football Watford displayed last night I will come on here and publicly give Blackwell some backing - if not please don't question my right to criticise

Cooperblade,

If I were a rubbish footballer I'd back the clown who picked me to play week - in, week - out as well!! It's meaningless.

Yep, it's bad that a current player backs him.

It's bad he's "lost the dressing room", unless he hasn't, then it's bad because the only reason he hasn't is they are "rubbish footballers".

Pretty much whatever actually happens is bad, whether its actually good or not :)

Who is this world-beater who so admires the genius that is Blackwell? Platini? Cruyff? Pele? No, it will be someone whose second touch is always a tackle, whose passing is a complete lottery, who treats a football like a red - hot coal and whose shooting endangers low-flying aircraft.

In short, someone who is very lucky to be playing at this level and depends on Blackwell's continuing obsession with mediocre battlers to carry on doing so. That is why his support is meaningless.

I'm not sure whether or not the player Coops speaks of is who you are attempting to say it is.

If it is, he's actually quite unlucky to be playing at this level, being abused, as he's had a number of opportunities to join teams a level higher.

Which teams? When? Who's knocking our door down at the moment?

I totally understand your rights. Read my message again in full, I'm not questioning your right to criticise. What I'm criticising is the way that many on here are spinning every possible thing at the club (and I include Blackie in the club), in the view of some the club can do no right at all.

But my main point is that the personal digs at Blackie (nothing to do with his ability to manage) are completely unwarranted.

Just because I don't agree with you doesn't make my view rose tinted, perhaps i'm more realistic. None of us know that.

My opinion is based "Blindly" on Blackies ability to turn it around last season and the season before. Yes this season's different but we have two seasons under him where the bad form has turned around. Yours is based on a few games this season where we haven't performed and got some very poor results.

As for Blackies comments, I tend to take them with a pinch of salt, rather than condemning him and chucking insults at him everytime he speaks.

I don't expect anyone to agree with me I'm merely stating my point.

Up the Blades!

Which teams? When? Who's knocking our door down at the moment?

There have been a number over the last few years, obviously, the goings on haven't exactly been advertised in the press. One of the managers in question is now managing the "worlds richest club", so I doubt he'll be in for him now he can chuck the pound signs at the cream of the crop.

Probably no-one in at the moment, given that he's injured. That's one thing that scuppered one of the more recent possible movements.

Pinchy, it wasn't Monty. I'm not going to name him although it doesn't take a genius to work out who he is. Even you might like him....

Didn't James Beattie rate Blackwell??

For me Back till the end of the season, we are in bad form today was more positive, to me today shows he really needs to sort out the defence and drop Killa and Walker they were poor.

He told Cresswell he did
