We usually do this around the end of the season and seeing as we've nothing left to play for, thought I might as well pop it up now.

I do realise that some of you may wish to wait until after Sunday to give your responses and here's hoping it'll be particularly relevant for question 3 ;)

Completely subjective and nothing is actually awarded, but it'd be good to hear your thoughts.

1) Player of the Season

You can vote in the poll. All players that have started at least five league matches so far are included. The results of the official player of the year poll can be found HERE

2) Goal of the Season

Can be anything ranging from the strange to the sublime.

3) Highlight of the Season

A goal, game or performance that you've been particularly positive about this season.

4) Lowlight of the Season

Opposite to the above. What or who have you been most disappointed with this season?

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Necks on the line time. Where do you reckon we'll finish next season?

In the style of Brewster's Millions, "None of the Above" for player of the year.

1) Nick Montgomery

2) Treacey against leicester

3) Ordering my beer at bottom of kop and hearing blades 3rd goal going in and then throughout half time about 200 blades druken blades dancing around. Felt top of the world.

4) Scunthorpe away seeing some of the morons who follow this club.

5) 14th- 16th

I can see my highlight changing to watching wendy go down live on the BBC in May against Palace though. A monty goal on sunday could change it all though and become the highlight of my life.

1) Player of the Season

Richard Cresswell

2) Goal of the Season

Jamie Ward v Coventry City (Away) 15/09/09

3) Highlight of the Season

Beating the pigs

4) Lowlight of the Season

Losing at Peterborough

5) Prediction for 2010/11

I'm going to be bold and optimistic - Blades to finish 4th and win the playoffs

1. Chris Morgan, a man surrounded by strangers by still plays with all his heart.

2. Treacy v Leicester, a beaut of a goal.

3. 7:45 - 8:30pm on Friday 18th September 2009, I seriously thought a boxing day massacre score was coming.

4. Has to be losing to Scunthorpe both home and away.

5. 3 - 6th I firmly believe this club has not given up just yet.

1) Player of the Season

-1st. Monty.
-2nd. Morgan
-3rd. Jordan Stewart :adore:

2) Goal of the Season

-I can't actually remember many of this seasons goals. So will have to plump for Cresswell against whoever it was. The one where he hid behind the keeper. Plymouth?

3) Highlight of the Season

-Half time against the pigs at home. 3-0 up and thinking we were going to get six.

4) Lowlight of the Season

-The booing of our own players, Quinny and Cresswell, was a sign of the times and was a bit of an eye opener as to how moronic some of our fans are. Sad times.

-Poor quality of football in general. I think the negative attitude we've taken into most games (particularly away) has been deflating for a lot of supporters.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

-11th. A poor start than turns around at Christmas time and we'll go on a good run before faultering in the last couple of months.

1) Player of the Season

I couldn't choose one. The only players who played over 30 games (Monty and Morgs have IMO had poor seasons), Cresswell has been excellent since January (only half a season) and the rest very average. Williamson and Ward have played well in flashes, but have both been crocked most of the time.

2) Goal of the Season

see 3)

3) Highlight of the Season

Hendersons winner at Bristol. It's up there with my top 3 celebrations (Andy Walker Ipswich away play off semi final 1997 and Petr katchouro injury time winner at Wolves a couple of years before that)

4) Lowlight of the Season

Watford away. Hands down the worst performance I've seen by the Blades.

To add to it some lairy nobhead (a United fan) started giving me abuse (almost resulting in a fight) on the train away from the ground ...... just because I was 'still wearing a Blades scarf after we'd been so shit'

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Bottom half. Maybe even flirting with relegation.

I went for Jamie Ward but to be honest they have all been shit or injured.

1) Player of the Season

Have voted for Richard Cresswell. It sums up our season that a former Wednesday player with just two-thirds of the season with us is a major contender for POTS. I shudder to think where we'd be without his goals.

2) Goal of the Season

Henri Camara vs. Bristol City (h)

3) Highlight of the Season

Sheffield derby at the Lane, half time. 3-0 up and firmly believing that the Boxing Day Massacre was about to be rammed down their necks once and for all ...

4) Lowlight of the Season

Sheffield United 0-1 Scunthorpe United. Confirmation that we are a million miles from where we want to be.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Mid-table and more of the same. With Blackwell as well.

1) Player of the Season

Cresswell - Had the most positive impact out of them.

2) Goal of the Season

Probably Camara's, I think it was at home V Bristol City

3) Highlight of the Season

First half against the scum. We battered them.

4) Lowlight of the Season

Second half against the scum. We could have truly exorcised any demons over the Boxing Day game which they still crow about despite it being before I was born.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

8th

1) Player of the Season
1st Morgan
2nd Monty
3rd Cresswell/Henderson both have had good goalscoring seasons

2) Goal of the Season
Ward away vs Coventry

3) Highlight of the Season
Henderson winner vs Bristol (3-2)

4) Lowlight of the Season
Watford away. £30+ spent on travel and tickets, going to watford on a tuesday night and waiting 90 minutes for a shot on target.

5) Prediction for 2010/11
10th

1) Monty

2) Keith Treacy v Leicester

3) Monty scoring

4) Losing to Scunthorpe twice

5) Difficult to say but I will be optimistic and go for 6th.

2) Goal of the Season

Monty v Blackpool

3) Highlight of the Season

Being 3-0 up against the grunters

4) Lowlight of the Season

Probably the season as a whole

5) Prediction for 2010/11

strong play off place finish, 4th

1) Player of the Season

Richard Cresswell - lets hope he bangs a hatrick in against grunters

2) Goal of the Season

MONTY!

3) Highlight of the Season

Beating the Scum

4) Lowlight of the Season

Home Form

5) Prediction for 2010/11

T

5) Prediction for 2010/11
Get a solid squad and push for automatic - the league is going to be lacking in quality sides next year

1,2,3,an 4 are all going to be at pigsborough so i can't post now.
Prediction for 2010/11 CHAMPIONS ! yhihf

1) Player of the Season

Not even going to pick. Morgan and Montgomery have been steady but I don't believe that warrants player of the season. The player of 2010 so far would have to be Creswell though.

2) Goal of the Season

Treacy's against Leicester, what a screamer.

3) Highlight of the Season

Probably the 96th minute winner at Bristol City after conceding an equaliser in the 95th. Absolutely crazy scenes, not had a celebration like that for a while.

4) Lowlight of the Season

Plenty to choose from... Scunthorpe doing the double over us, Blackpool absolutely ripping us apart at Bloomfield Road, Watford away as a whole, Palace away as a whole. Any of the above really.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

This is tough to call, but presuming Blackwell will be building the squad from scratch in the summer.... 18th.

1) Player of the Season

no-one

2) Goal of the Season

Cressys cheeky one

3) Highlight of the Season

nowt

4) Lowlight of the Season

all of it

5) Prediction for 2010/11

with Blackwell, bottom third. With anyone else, outside chance of the play-offs

1) Player of the Season

Richard Cresswell

2) Goal of the Season

Nick Montgomery v Blackpool

3) Highlight of the Season

1st Half v Wednesday at home

4) Lowlight of the Season

2nd Half v Wednesday at home

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Play-offs

1) Player of the Season

Monty but can't really separate him from Morgan. Both are the heart of the team.

2) Goal of the Season

I really liked Cress's against Coventry. All short passing and clever interchange followed by a great hit.

3) Highlight of the Season

Half time vs Weds.

4) Lowlight of the Season

Not the sales, the style, the results or the injuries. But the lack of a sense of togetherness.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Ask again in August. May as well say 12th for now.

monty for player of the year?, we really have plummeted to new depths of mediocrity if that`s the consensus. What a wank of a season this has been.

Player of the year should go to whoever scores the derby winner on sunday. If we lose then give it lowton, the only one to have a appeared in the squad & as yet not to have fallen under the tactical shite of blackwell.

1) Player of the Season

Morgan - almost by default but, along with Monty, he's been fairly consistent and reassured us all that SUFC does still have spirit and heart.

2) Goal of the Season

For quality, Treacy v Leicester

3) Highlight of the Season

Derby (a). I came away from that game thinking that we were going to be incredibly solid all season, very difficult to beat and genuine contenders for automatic promotion.

4) Lowlight of the Season

The fact that the rebuilding has consisted almost entirely of selling players. It's not easy, I accept that, but I think more work could and should've been done towards building next season's squad. Too much short-termism and far too many loanees for me.

The other lowlight is that James Harper hasn't justified the incredible excitement I felt when we signed him.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Incredibly difficult to say at this point in time. I can't have it that we're going to struggle to stay up though, the small nucleus we'll have left is too strong for that. I'd say somewhere between 4th and 12th in, what looks like it will be, a very weak section.

1) Player of the Season

Carl Ikeme

2) Goal of the Season

Cresswell's first minute screamer against Blackpool

3) Highlight of the Season

Stood behind the Kop at half time at 3-0 v Pigs. "We'll never hear about Boxing Day ever again as long as we can keep it tight for the next 10."

4) Lowlight of the Season

The Season. Mind numbingly dull.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Blackwell in. Same again only I won't be seeing any of it.
Blackwell out. Renewed hope and a possible play-off spot.

1) Player of the Season

Morgan, on the basis that you have to give it to somebody and he's the only person to have played a lot whose been better than mediocre. Honourable mention for Cresswell, who hasn't played enough to win it for me but has been a very pleasant surprise.

2) Goal of the Season

Camara vs Bristol City

3) Highlight of the Season

Going 3-0 up on the Pigs.

4) Lowlight of the Season

There have been so many, but to choose just one, the fact that over 40% of people voting in this thread think Monty has been our best player this season makes me despair for the fate of the human race.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Bottom 8 with no change in manager or board attitude

1) Player of the Season

Richard Cresswell

2) Goal of the Season

Cresswell against Coventry. A unique goal under this manager. Well-constructed, imaginative close passing. No wonder he doesn't want Little; can't have any more of that sort of nonsense.

3) Highlight of the Season

It's ending and so is Monty's contract.

4) Lowlight of the Season

The extent to which our fans will tolerate mediocrity.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Mediocrity.

1) Player of the Season

Morgan and Monty - the heartbeat of the side, the only players (Geary and Kenny aside) that I feel any connection with. Blades Legends for me.

2) Goal of the Season

Monty even though I missed it.

3) Highlight of the Season

Smashing Wendy in that first half, those yoofs getting chased off the Kop.

4) Lowlight of the Season

Some of the abuse of the players has been beyond the pale for me.

5) Prediction for 2010/11

Lots of clubs at our level will be in a complete mess, we'll be no different.
