So I thought I'd respond sensibly to your original OP - yes, so far so good barring the result at Gillingham. I think we need our current unbeaten run to stretch a little bit longer before we get too carried away. The difference this season is that I'm really looking forward to going to games which I can't say for some last season.

If I was being sensitive, I'd think you were having a pop at some of us for starting "thin" threads. Unfortunately the refreshing goodwill and harmony doesn't necessarily also apply to S2 4SU.

It's all become very tiresome, but basically I made what I thought was an amusing comment based on the title of the thread and old Woody has taken offence to it. At first, I tried to get him to see the humour intended but then quickly realised he doesn't have a sense of humour so not wanting to offend him, I apologised, but apparently that's not good enough. I'll just have to accept I won't be on his christmas card list this year.
