His only experience before joining Luton was L1 and below. Relying on him as part of the squad would have been seriously naive. It probably wouldn't have aided his development either.

Every season Man u loaned Henderson out to a better division and it's made him a better player. RND will benefit the game time and competitiveness in the lower leagues..

I think him and Derek Calvin-Lewis played in the same youth team. Calvin-Lewis is decent so maybe this Northington-David bloke will be good as well? Both got double barrelled names.
