It shows a complete lack of planning.

If they’re good enough in May, they’re good enough in August. You give them at least 10 games if you’ve backed them to prepare the side over the summer

Likewise if the manager quits by “mutual consent” in August that’s a lack of professionalism. If they don’t back the manager in summer but you get to the first game then really you have to give it several games so that the side aren’t left completely in the lurch

Good shout but Alexander is still a PNE hero and after a slow start at Bradford he's turned them around.
He's destined for that job one day and was unlucky not to get it some years back following a spell as interim manager.
