Played for the Reserves the other day and is on trial with us. A Google search comes up with zilch about him. Anyone watched him? He seemed to impress. Story is on the OS.

He played at right back and captained Everton in the U18 game I watched at Shirecliffe in March. He wasn't exactly the focus of my attention and United played a narrow 3-5-2 formation, rarely attacking down the flanks. In general Everton looked bigger and stronger than our players and dominated the game, but we defended well and won 2-1. Higgins is to the left in the photo below:
