How the times have changed. I doubt anyone would have been anything but gutted had he joined in 2012 but there you go.

I didn't realise Brentford had bids rejected for him in January. Might that mean Harlee Dean is available....?
Not this again!
An tbf we didn't see enough of him to judge, but he's certainly gone from strength to strength at Gills.

I like Flynn. I think he is under rated. I think he's a good honest player who gives of his best. If his best isn't good enough....then fair enough.
good honest player.. it isn't
play him at full back and sell the beard.. HERESY :)

Flynn at his best is a great asset. It happens very rarely though. He would, I'd guess, fit into Wilder's style of football.
Just about every player on the planet, at their best, is a great asset. The real issue is - what percentage of the time are they at or near their best?

Not nearly enough in Flynn's case. Though to be fair he did a good job at right back before Brayford arrived.

UTB

Flynn should stay. He would thrive with better players around him. He may not be the strongest player but he has an engine and is an intelligent player who can create & score goals - Everyone goes on about Baxters cross in the Charlton game but even Sharp would have had a hard job converting that goal. He is versatile, has been played in various positions and always gives his all. It's a yes from me!
