Seen the article but I wouldn't let that alter the view that if we agree a fee with Plymouth he'll want to talk to us - at the very least. That's if we'e indeed interested.

He looks decent on the ball and has a good shot on him, but when I've seen him he looks knackered, as though he could do with losing a few pounds and gaining a little more pace. Good question Pinchy, a better one might be how many games does he not finish?

In fairness I'm only going on what a friend was told by someone he knows on United's staff. Apparently failed a couple and clubs wary of taking the gamble.

Haven't followed him closely but not aware he misses that many games. Assuming it's true then could be a pre-existing condition that affects insurance.

Lameiras, outstanding in the second half of last season, has been linked with the Blades and Reading. One national newspaper suggested that Argyle have put a valuation of around £300,000 on Lameiras, who is under contract until the summer of 2019. But Lameiras is keen on remaining in the south-west and is not seeking a move.

He looked decent in that season where Cov were running away with league one. Certainly looked talented but I'd hope we are setting our sights on players who are immediate upgrades on the first team.

Imo where we struggled with a lower Champ budget last year - was we didn't have the funds for many direct starters to come in.

I'd argue only really Stearman and Stevens.

Evans / Lundstram / Blackman and Bladock all got chances through injury but weren't necessarily penciled in as started merely much needed depth.

And evans, henigan Thomas and holmes probably played less than 3 games between them.
