  • 2002 World Cup - fucked off as he 'didn't like the training regime'.
  • On 21 February 2009, Keane cited differences with Sunderland 30% shareholder Ellis Short and strains with club chairman Niall Quinn as the factors in his decision to resign as Sunderland manager.
  • Keane was sacked as Ipswich manager on 7 January 2011 after less than 2 years in the job.

  • On 28 November 2014, only 5 months into the job, Keane quit his role as assistant manager at Aston Villa after clashes with senior players.

  • ...and, just this week' 'Keane reportedly turned up at Tom Cleverley’s house to confront the midfielder over claims a bust-up with players led to his departure from the club.'

Very good - but violent - player. As a manager, hardly 'Carriage Clock' material. And as for others not living up to his 'high' :D standards, he has been surrounded with some excellent players at Forest & Man. U. A lovely man...

You'll be surprised that I think this, but Roy Keane is a cunt of the highest water. He's up there with bonio as the biggest nobhead to ever cross the Irish Sea.

He looks like he should be sat outside a 24 hour supermarket, accosting late night shoppers for spare change to facilitate the purchase of some delicious Kestrel Super.

Kestrel Brewery said:
A beer for sipping, possibly from a wine glass - and certainly one for sharing.

Appearance: Honey-hued polished gold and ephemeral white foam create an intriguing spectacle.

Aroma: A perfumed sweetness and oaked spirit nose indicate something special to be discovered in this handsome liquid.

Flavour: Sweet toffee and honeyed twists, turns and loops combine with a concentrated wine-like fruitiness, feisty light rum, swirls of malt, and decidedly ripe dessert apple richness.

Mouthfeel and finish: Powerfully spirited and a juicy spice palate with astonishing depth.

Whenever I read "Mr Clough" in posts, I always read it in the voice of this guy from South Park.

"Go on then. Win promotion from this tinpot league MR CLOUGH"

The discussion was about Roy Keane's value as a player, not a manager. Most of what you've written is not relevant to this as it's all about him as a manger.

The only point that you've made about him as a player is the bit about the 2002 world cup. How many clubs did he leave after just a few weeks?

As I said, you might want to reconsider. It does not tally with the facts in terms of Keane the player and whether or not he would have benefitted The Blades in this division. I think you are on weak ground if you try and argue that Roy Keane the player would not have been of considerable benefit to us.

I remember the tackle he did on Alf Inge Haaland, shocking.
Perhaps the worst thing I've seen in English football.
Premeditated piece of criminal thuggery.
Should have been sent down and all his money given to Alf, and his bollocks chopped off and that's just for starters.
Odious piece of turd of a man.
C%%t of a pundit, bullying 2@ as a manager, who pissed millions on poor signings.

How anyone can have any respect for this amoeba is beyond me.
Right
I'll get off the fence now.
