They always seem to produce some quality flair players, and it seems the name Hagi is on the up again.
Would surely be excellent business sense for us to scout these young lads over in Eastern Europe, they seem to have all the skills, touch and athleticism to succeed in England

An example I used recently was Salah and Egypt. Just because a national team is crap doesn’t mean the young players aren’t there. But if you don’t scout those markets (and I understand why we don’t) you don’t find them.

Just watch them, never mind “their team’s shite”, more likely their national set up isn’t anywhere near as cutting edge, and management and tactics less impactful.

Those lads possess all the basics, and generally have a superb first touch. The best of course end up in italy, where the top class players then end up going for big fees and the Italian club getting all the benefits financially.

Plus coming from the country they do, they will be giving everything!!

Vlad Chiriches at Spurs and Razvan Rat at West Ham are the only two I can think of, but they’re not exactly at the level of the 90s Romanians.
