I meant it in the way that they may not have tried their utmost to get tonight's game on (covers, rollers etc) in the full knowledge that not playing on it tonight will give the pitch a much better chance of being in a playable state for our visit on Saturday.

Lot of Rain in the forecast for Northern England the next few days,
If Saturday is off the next available date for both clubs would be Tuesday 4th April.

Might be better for us than them as they then would then have played four consecutive Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Having said that we would have played three out of the four previous midweeks as well.
