It was a much quieter website when I first started posting on here, which wasn't that long ago. It seems to have become very popular over the last couple of years so that may explain it. From memory there were a couple of other message boards; BladesMad, one on the official site and one on 5 Live, possibly others and I don't think as many people even bothered with message boards back in the day.
I started posting on BM in about 2003 (where's the time gone?) but had a sojourn and moved to 5 live during the Robson era, mainly to aggressively berate anyone who suggested he had a semblance of competence. It was all a bit Wild West in those days. I'm a bit embarrassed about some of the things I posted in those days, I was quite arrogant and disrespectful. I find sticking to the general principle of play the post not the poster leads to much better discussion.
