Robson caught in newspaper sting

My concern with all this is Robson. Given that McCabe employed him and then gave him the biggest budget ever given to a Blades manager, was Robson involved with Sim then or has this only sprung up since he left us and buggered off to Thailand or wherever he went ?

I'd like to believe that we're innocent in all this as has been said above but there's a nagging doubt about whether there was a plan in place when Robson took over.

Didn't see it but will watch tonight. Sounds absolutely brilliant! Love seeing McCabe humiliated in any way. Cannot wait. Have we still got Trevor's napkin contract, did that come up?

We were only mentioned near the end of the programme (unless i missed something), the guy from Thailand said he had this club lined up but won't reveal who it was, he then decided to tell them and low and behold it was us, we are apparently 57 million in debt and Scott McCabe met this thai guy and it shows pictures of him at the lane etc etc. Its a good programme shows how football is just bent.

Robson can't of been in with sim when he was here, because he never brought a lot of loan players in from man u or anywhere, he just spent our money and tried to take us down, unless he was trying to wreck us and get his mates to buy wendy and make a killing that way?

Fergie and robbo ought to resign for their part in the sales, but they wont and it will be all swept under the carpet of our corrupt game sadly.

Sepp Blatter was asked about corruption in the game.
After a good gulp of Vodka and after clearing catarrh from his throat he was heard to say, " He Tries Man!"

His fantastic links with Man United did lead to Lee Martin joining us - though Robson left about a month later.

This has passed me by in the deluge of corruption that's happening everywhere, but I chanced upon this today:

"Richards under scrutiny

Sir Dave Richards’ position as chairman of the Premier League will come under more scrutiny from the cutting room floor of the Channel 4 Dispatches probe into the murky buying of football clubs.

The left-out footage shows Andrew Leppard, Bryan Robson’s business partner in football investment fund London Nominees, telling undercover reporters that the former England captain had talked to Richards for advice on purchasing Sheffield Wednesday.

Richards was chairman of Sheffield Wednesday before joining the Premier League 13 years ago. Robson, who was caught on camera suggesting ways of getting around rules over owning more than one club, was with Leppard in the Manchester United theme bar in Bangkok where the TV sting took place.

He did not contradict his colleague’s comments about Sir Dave’s involvement. Richards says he talked to Robson’s associate Terry Robinson and merely advised him to speak to Wednesday’s financial director."

The leftover tape also includes chat about how Plymouth manager Peter Reid, another advisor of the LN fund, had also got involved in talks over Wednesday.

About his judgement of people, he brought Robson to the blades and a lot of people were shocked. This confirms his inability to make a decent, honest appointment. He the patronised supporters by telling us we don't understand football!!

London Nominees Football Fund was only founded in 2010 and Bryan Robson became manager of Thailand in 2009, resigning in June 2011.

Robson was appointed our Manager in 2007 so your beef is against Kevin Mc in this situation is just way off the mark
