For me, Seriki has done alright, still raw and is still being built up in terms of his confidence after his loan experience. On the other hand, I've said before that I'm yet to be convinced by RND. We need better imo.

If he was the only change in that back line Seriki would be on a 5 for me. Next to Davies who cannot pass with his right he gets another half mark.
Not sure what the answer is. Starbuck? It’s not Femi just yet

First name terms with him are you? You can tell him then that we're not all idiots and some of us think he did OK.
What would you like me to call him? Does calling him Seriki make my points more palatable?

RND tries hard so I can’t fault him for that but in my opinion he’s well out of his depth

We have 5 defenders injured 4 of whom would probably be regular starters and Lowe out on loan plus Goode suspended. Also Brewster and McGoldrick out for season. We’re at the bare bones.

Spence had RND on toast tonight. But Spence looks a PL player and has done that to many a left back this season, so no great shame in it. RND is a pretty average left back for this level and at his age that's not a bad place to be.

Seriki had a bit of a nightmare, but circumstances were against him: good opposition, Ben Davies next to him etc. I liked his positivity though, he got forward as much as possible and also tried to drive with the ball, but his touch & delivery let him down.
On tonight's showing he needs a loan move next season to L1 to see if he can make the step up.

I’d be starting Osborn and Baldock at full back for the next one if George is fit. Thought Osborn was decent when he came on even though he was on the right

Spence was decent, i think RND would concede that himself. RND wants to improve his marking a bit. Seriki had an average game, nowt more or less

Osborne changed the game for ud
He gave us more intensity pace and covered some ground would I start him at RWB nah LWB maybe

Osborn was great when he came on.

RND spends far too much time shithousing. He’s nowhere near what we need from a wing back. It was also his man for their equaliser. Nowhere near him.

If RND was 28, a loan signing from wherever, we’d be saying he was garbage. Error prone and garbage in the final third. He makes Furious George look like Ronaldo. Get Enda back for some much needed perspective.
No, get Ben Osborn back at left back. I don’t know if it was just because it was Forest. But his hunger to get forward and his sheer tenacity as a leftie playing at right back, illustrated to me in an instant what we’ve been missing all season down the left hand side.

He needs a rest, he's our best LWB, he doesnt get much support by JLW when attacking so he's up and down, up and down constantly. He needs a game on bench and to reset because when he came back for the swansea game he was immense. Also lets be real...Spence is the best RWB in the league and will no doubt play for a top 6 prem club.

No dig at all, only at you for suggesting Femi has done ok. Seriously…
I think he was ok. Not great and made mistakes, but also had a few moments of real quality.
I don’t think we can expect much more from a young debutant.
My guess is that he will be a really good player, but give him a couple of years.

I think you are overegging Spence.
He has talent but I don’t think he is anywhere near top 6 Premiership ( yet)

I don't think RND has ever had an immense game for us. He's had a few decent ones, a few average ones and a few poor ones. I think he has the potential to improve however.

Is there a better RWB in the league?
I don’t know, but I guess there is and Bogle is up there. However the best in the Championship is not necessarily good enough in the top of the Premiership.
Think of Pukki and Mitrovic together with Norwich, Bournemouth and Fulham players

'will no doubt play for a top 6 prem club'

He’s possibly our worst.

The bloke behind me was calling him ‘Oriki’ so Femi is much better. That said he always says “bet he’s quick” every time a black player comes on for the opposition 🤦🏻‍♂️

Good article about RND on The Athletic, here's some of the data used and shows the defensive improvements with RND in the team, however his attacking output is poor in comparison. That's the gist of the article, however it doesn't consider the switch from 4 at the back to 5 at the back, this goes massively in RND's favour defensively IMO.

I've never seen RND and thought "crikey, he looks good". He does a job and works hard but based on what I've seen of him, he looks as if Championship is his ceiling in terms of his ability.

Stevens is a spent force now and based on how Osborn performed when he came on, one of the wing back spots has to be his for the next game.
